Great minds only think logically and only act to win.

In the head branch of the NYPD.
They have all gathered in front of the man who sent for them. Except, they don't know yet.

"Well officers, nice haul. Didn't expect cops to be robbing." Charles looked deadpanned at the two new officers.

"Excuse me?" Facie was genuinely shocked.

"We caught them red handed, okay," Darren tried to keep his cool.

"Or were you their accomplices?" Charles spoke in a low tone, adding to the seriousness of his query.

"Now that's just absurd." Facie answered for the duo.

"Is it? Having you two show up at the same time the store was robbed is very convenient." He walked from his position behind his desk to in front of them.

"No, it was very inconvenient. I was having lunch." Darren voiced his opinion.

"Deny, deny, deny. Good strategy." Charles looked unsatisfied.

"Well?"asked Chad, the only one knowing his true intent.

"Welcome to the team." Charles put on a smile.

"What?" Facie couldn't decide on an emotion.

"You passed the test." His simple reply made her choose outraged.

"What kind of test was that?"

"The idiot test," his smile grew wider.

"Is this guy serious?"her question was directed at Shane.

"Of course. I'm a detective. My word is law," Charles said, now sporting a straight face.

"Alright cowboy. You don't stop playing around, I'm out," said Facie.

"Could you please lock me up so I don't have to listen to this?" The impatient Saripha speaks up.

"I can see you're famous with the ladies," said Mundo, getting a word in.

Everyone laughs.

"Well, can you can you at least tell us your name?" Facie asked the question on everyone's mind.

Door opens. A formally dressed, middle aged man walks in.

"Of course. I'm Detective Charles Taylor. I'm the head of this department's investigations division."

"A pain in the ass that's what u are. Where are the findings on the missing persons' case? They should've been submitted yesterday," said the man who just walked in. By now he is almost in front of Charles and he stops.

"You checked your email since you came?" Charles gave him a smug look. As if he just won some bet made between them.

The man didn't look amused. "No. I didn't expect an email." He turned to the four guests in the room.

Saripha smiled and said, "Sup?"

The man looked like he was thinking too hard. "Why are they here?" He pointed at the group.

Charles simply said, "Shoplifting," as if it revealed the secrets of the universe.

The man pointed at Chad sitting across the room. "Can't they deal with it?"

"Diamonds," Shane added.

"Send them to Jackson's office. I need you active on this case."

"Who is he?" Facie asked Shane, who was closest to her, in a low tone.

"Chief Duhaney, this is responding officers Darren and Facie Ann."

"Rookies? Good work." And with that he leaves the room.

Charles spoke to the group, "Okay. You can take off the cuffs."

Darren took out the keys and unlocked Saripha's hand cuffs. He handed her the keys. After their hands were all free they exchanged names.

"Well, looks like we have a fine team. I believe introductions are in order. I already have, who's next?"

Mundo spoke up, "Name's Mundo, I'm a security expert."

"Saripha, professional hacker."

"Oficcer Darren, gun specialist."

"Officer Facie Ann, martial artist."

Chad stood up from his chair.
"Chad, street boxer."

"Oshane also a gun specialist."

"Now then why don't we," door opens.

"Sir, all of you need to see this."
