Layla's Pov
"Jude! Where are you"? I asked running around the mansion.
"In here! Do you need something"? He asked.
"Lucy's bugging me about taking her into town for this years Halloween parade. I'm not sure if it's safe enough to take her there, you know how magnolia is with there magic! They might do something to her as a Halloween prank or something to scare her". I said concerned for my child's safety.
"Don't worry Layla! Remember how Lucy was upset last year when you refused to take her? Maybe this year you can take her, I'll come to since you're so worried". He offered.
"But Jude! You have a lot of work on your hands, I don't know if this is such a good idea". I said.
"No, I think we've been in this mansion far too long! A nice Halloween parade is just the thing we need to relax". Jude said. "Plus, I could use a little break from all this work. If I continue without stopping, I think I'll wake up in the morning with a huge headache". He said.
"Really"? I asked.
"Yes, besides Layla. It's been a while since I've been to a parade. We both know we're not getting any younger, and we both know Lucy wants to remember her childhood as a great time in her life. Alright? If you still feel a little unsure, why not bring a few maids over to help keep Lucy safe"? Jude said.
"Alright! The parade is this Friday, and Jude"? I asked.
"Hmm"?
"Don't over work yourself, you'll start to grow white hair from all the stress". I said smiling.
"Yea Yea, I won't work so much". He said.
"Good, now I'll have to find Lucy a costume. A costume where no one will think she's a heartfilia. Speaking of, we also need costumes! Maybe we can go trick or treating and carve pumpkins! Oh and-"!
"Layla, you seem to be getting a little too excited and I thought Lucy was suppose to be the child in this family". Jude interrupted and laughed.
"Hmm! I just heard a lot of fun things about Halloween from the maids, and this is the first time going into the city to celebrate". I said pouting.
"Alright, go find Lucy a costume already. I'll be in here if you need anything". Jude said.
"Okay thanks"! I said and ran off to find Lucy a costume.
Lucy's Pov
My mom finally agreed to take me to the magnolia Halloween parade! I'm sooo excited, it's been a while since I've been out of this mansion!
"What do you think of this costume Lucy"? My mom said excited.
"It's okay I guess". I said turning around letting my mom check the outfit.
"Are you sure? You seem to not like it". Mom said.
"Well, I do like peter pan. Although, I don't think I'm pulling off this look". I said staring at myself in the mirror.
"Here try this costume, if you don't like it then just tell me. Okay"? She asked.
"Yea, okay". I took the costume and left to change.

"What do you think"? I asked entering the living room.
"You look absolutely adorable"! My mom squealed. Her eyes gleamed with excitement. I blushed at the comment.
