Ship between OptimisticOlivia's OC Laurie Grace and my OC Grant.

My whole world skidded to a stop once she met my gaze. Her beautiful green orbs sparkled with joy and innocent curiosity as her blond hair bounced from the movement of her walking. I froze in my steps, staring mesmerized at her beauty. Then I remembered Margret and a shudder ran through me.

I couldn't have a repeat of her. It'd be better if I just kept us as just friends.

Her bright smile blinded me for a moment and all negative thoughts melted away. Screw the friend zone. There's no way I'll be able to survive this if I keep her there.

"Hi. I'm Laurie Grace. I'm new to the mansion. Can you show me the ropes?"

Oh my god my heart just died. Her voice, I can't. How does someone have such a beautiful and angelic voice like her? Did I die and just not realize?

"Uh, sure, I'm Grant. Hi."

Nice going moron. She's going to think you're an antisocial pervert now.

Against my negative thoughts, she flashed me that oh-so-blinding smile and said, "Nice to meet you. So, what do I do here?"

Play it cool, Grant. You may be a sorcerer but you can't redo this.

"Just survive, I guess. And try not to be corrupted, go insane, or be controlled."

She blinked in bewilderment at my bluntness before frowning. "Hell on earth, huh?"

I sighed exasperatedly and nodded. "You have no idea."

She bit her lip uneasily. "Oh..."

"Don't worry. There's a lot of nice people here. Just the bad ones have all the power."

A small, dazzling smile played on her soft cherry colored lips as she nodded and I offered her my hand. "Ready to concur this ladder?"

She intertwined our fingers and we ran to the ladder.

A while later both of us were falling from the great height that was the distance between the top of the ladder and the bottom, the owner of the door, Leo, having thrown us over the edge in rage.

My left eye was completely blind and no doubt bleeding profusely from the stab wound the blonde male after breaking his weak wrist. Not my fault he wanted to fight.

We hit the floor with a sickening crack before reappearing in the dead cells, or respawn room as most call it.

She sighed. "How's your eye?"

I shrugged, blinking it. "I can't see much, but it'll be better in a little bit. You okay?"

Laurie leaned against my side as we say there on the cell floor, closing her eyes in exhaustion. "I'm fine."

I smiled slightly. "Go to sleep. You've had a long day."

A nod was my only reply before her breathing evened out and she relaxed against me, my shoulder her new pillow.

Gahhhhhhhh I feel awful I can't make this longer/more interestingggggggg
