Crying yourself to sleep

Crying yourself to sleep is hardly ever because of, say, your crush,
or your unrequited love, or some breakup.

It's not usually something like that.

It's usually because your grades are slipping,

people seem to believe you're smart so push expectations on you, every single one of your teachers, as if no other teachers are doing the same thing,

and your piano exam is in seventeen days and your teacher gave you a new piece you just cannot seem to get the hang of two weeks ago because you only just realised the programme didn't reach the minimum time.

There are more realistic reasons for depression, for anger, for negative emotions.

It's not like the books and the movies – if our only problem in life was to be in a relationship, how simple would all our lives be?

Not everyone's main concern is this thing called love, you know.

*****
is this going to attract haters? Because guess what, everybody has a different story to tell, and words cannot express everything – judging won't make you better than other people, you know.
