It's really weird how I read all these accounts of drunk abusive fathers,
but when my dad ever gets drunk he's this giggly,
happy, even
person that doesn't find fault in anything–
it's almost like a very familiar stranger.
My dad hardly ever smiles like that.
It feels really weird.
