Obviously my manifest destiny was to get the glee club back together. •February 11, 2016•
Ahh, today is a great day. Nice, perfect weather. Fun day at school, for once.
Marissa, JJ, Rod, and I are playing golf in the PE field during our free period. Free periods are only for seniors in second semester. It's a "rich kid" golf game. I hope Rod remembers it was me and Marissa who made him the "hunk" today.
From the cafeteria tables we have Mr. Maristella and the crummy science teacher Mr. Carrillo talking during their free periods as well, which is period 4.
"You know, I think I should quit teaching," Carrillo cheerfully says as he takes a sip of coffee.
"I'd do the same, but I actually love this school."
"How can you love this school with all the snobby kids?" Carrillo said. Plus, he was right. "I'm thinking of retiring next school year."
"Well, I love teaching music to the kids. And besides, out of all the budget cuts made they turned me into a music, drama, and history teacher. More money for me."
"Good for you. I'm tired of dealing with these snobby kids. Especially Jen Nakpil and Marissa Lewis."
"They're not so bad."
"Oh yes they are. Those two girls are the ones who started the gum tree!"
"The gum tree?"
"The gum tree is a tree next to the ESM garden. Jen and Marissa always stuck their chewed up pieces gum to the tree." Damn Carrillo, stalker much?
Back to the golf game. It was my turn. Get your balls ready.
I did my golf pose (flat ass pointed out, kinda bending down the undirty way, feet planted, and I'm ready to take a shot.)
"Any time soon?" Rod complained.
"Don't rush her. You say another word Jen and I will chop your balls off."
Of course I have something to say.
"You can't chop off what ain't there."I can see JJ laughing.
I hit the ball and it flew fast and far. I put my hand over my eyes, trying to see where it went. Then I knew.
Back to the two teachers.
"You know, I wonder if Jen and Marissa's parents even know their behavior." Carrillo complains.
"Yeah, but they year is almost over. Once they graduate, they'll be go--"
The golf ball hit Mr. Maristella's balls. See what I meant when I said "Get your balls ready?"
"Oh my gosh!" Carrillo exclaimed.
Back to the golf game.
"Anyone see where it went?" Marissa asked.
"Idk."
We had a spare ball anyway. We got in JJ's golf cart and drove no less than half a mile to the next course. I mean, I guess we're too lazy to walk? Rich kid problems.
It was Marissa's turn. Whenever Marissa plays, there's kinda that "domino effect". Just watch.
Marissa did her golf pose, almost the same as mine. When she hit her ball, there goes the effect.
The ball hits a lamp post and bounces off to a telephone pole which bounces off to the roof of the boys' locker room, which bounces to a tree, and then you wanna know where it lands?
Back to the two poor teachers.
"You need some ice for that?" Carrillo asks.
"No! I'm totally fine." You're not a good liar, Mr. M.
"This is just so--"
Marissa's golf ball hit CARRILLO'S balls.
"Carrillo?"
"DARN YOU SNOBBY RICH KIDS!" He yelled out as he tries to get his balls in place.
I can hear that. Marissa and the boys can hear it too.
"Play it where it lies?" Rod asks.
We all walked slowly to the tables.
"Why didn't we just take the golf cart?" I smartly asked.
"It doesn't feel nice driving on asphalt or cement." JJ explains.
"Ugh, I hate walking."
When we got to the tables, I couldn't help but hold my laugh in. The two teachers are trying to stand up straight without pain.
"You 4 have a lot of explaining to do!" Maristella says.
"Why are you kids even here?! It's DITCH DAY!" Carrillo said it.
That's why we came to play golf here. It's ditch day and no one else would be here to bother us.
•after school•
I have to help Bea Bianca coach her little brother's polo team tomorrow as punishment for almost killing my teacher's balls. Marissa has to do community service by helping the elderly do their daily activities at the rest home near the Baskin Robins in Reseda. I'd rather help the elderly than help Bea Bianca. Wish me luck bitches.
