No turning back

My mom stood next to me as I stuffed my last bag into the car. She didn't say anything as she stood in her rob with her arms folded.

Jr was in the backseat asleep. "Don't worry yourself please" I said as I watched her face tense up. "I will be fine, you're more than welcome to visit mom"

kissing her cheek as she pecked mine. "No, that's not it." she said pausing. "You're the last to go, you're not my baby boy anymore. You're a man now, come here"

her grip became tighter as Chris walked up behind me. "Oh Chris take care of my baby please" she said grasping his hand. "Without a doubt, thanks for welcoming me into your family"

he smiled as my mom hugged him. "Drive safe" She shouted as we got into the car. Chris smiled at me not saying anything as I smiled back grabbing his hand as we headed to the airport.

"Babe" Chris woke me as the car came to a stop. I looked out my window to two man standing in orange with luggage carriers.

"Everything is in the trunk" I heard Chris shout as the man followed him. I got out opening jr door unbuckling his seatbelt as he was still asleep.

I tried not to wake him, Jr. Wasn't too fund of airplanes. I gently picked him up as he wrapped his arms around my neck placing his head under my neck still asleep.

"Want me to carry him?" Chris asked as one of the guys got into the car pulling off. "It's fine I got him" I said as we followed the man towards our terminal.

"You're so good with him" Chris whispered as we walked towards the plan. "I made him a promise so I have too" I said looking up at him.

"Do you want one?" Chris asked as we stood by the entrance waiting to board the plan. "We have one, I want to give him the world" I said rubbing jr back kissing his head.

        Chris let out a soft chuckle leaning towards my ear. "Trust me you'll be having some soon" he said licking the tip of my ear.

"Stop it" I laughed at him pushing him away with my shoulder as he put his hand on my lower back letting me walk in first.

"Ticket please" the woman asked smiling at us. "First class, you're this way" she said as she guided us to our seats.

"I noticed him sleeping, here's a pillow and a blanket, you have more than enough room in this section to lay him down, enjoy your flight, this button here will alert me if you need anything"

she said as she made jr a little pallet. I laid him down on the side of me as Chris sat back grabbing his head phone, he reached for his bag pulling out ear plugs for jr.

"I don't want his ears to start popping while he's asleep he will wake up and go crazy" Chris said laughing as he put them in jr ear.

"That boy is a hard sleeper" I said as he didn't move or wake up. "Not sure where he gets that from" Chris said as he got comfortable.

"From you" I said chuckling. "It was time when I've tried to wake you and you didn't move at all, I'm talking about I've screamed your name a few time"
