I closed my eyes shut.
"Rukia!" Napamulat akong bigla nang marinig ko yung boses ni Minseok hyung, he was walking towards me. I look at my back and saw nothing, nothing but a broken pendant. Mabilis kong kinuha yun at nilagay sa bulsa ng coat ko.
"Minseok hyung." I uttered when he came close enough to hear me.
"Pagkain mo." Sabi nya at inabot sa 'kin ang isang paper bag.
"Y-you leave for this?" He just look at me and say nothing, then after a few minutes umupo sya sa tabi ko. Binuksan ko yung paper bag na binigay nya sa 'kin at napangiti sa laman non.
Isang baozi, mango shake, at tatlong barbeque.
I look at his face and the last fear I'm feeling suddenly vanished. Why do I feel so secure?
Kinuha ko yung baozi at hinati yun sa dalawa. I move myself closer to him at inabot sa kana yung kalahati. He look at it before his gaze met mine.
"Hati tayo hyung, hindi ko naman mauubos 'to lahat eh!"
"Ayoko, kulang pa sayo yan." I pout.
"Grabe ka naman hyung, hindi ah! Sige na, hati na tayo oh!" He silently get the baozi I was holding and look on the other way.
"Thanks." He said without looking at me. Ngumiti na lang ako at kumain.
Pagkatapos namin kumain ay naglakad na ulit kami. Hindi ko alam kung imagination ko lang ba yun o nararamdaman ko talagang may sumusunod pa rin sa 'min? Pumantay na lang ako kay Minseok hyung, pero napatiil rin ako sa paglalakad nung may nakita akong panda stuff toy.
"Hyung wait lang, may titingnan lang ako!" I said at dali-daling pinuntahan yung stall kung nasaan yung stuff toy. "Kuya, magkano yun?" Tanong ko dun sa lalaki na nagbabantay dun sa stall.
"Alin po Ma'am?" I pointed at the stuff toy. "Ay, Miss Ruki, hindi po kasi binebenta yan eh! Pero kung gusto nyo po syang makuha, kailangan nyo pong maglaro." Tiningnan ko yung mga bote sa harap ko, kaya ba merong mga ganto dito? "Kailangan nyo lang pong maka-shoot ng five rings para makuha yung item." Inabot ko yung mga ring na binibigay nya sa 'kin.
"How much?" He smiled.
"Two thousand won po." Kinuha ko yung wallet ko at inabot yung pera sa kanya.
First throw, pasok.
Second throw, sablay.
Third throw, sablay na naman!
Fourth throw, pasok.
Fifth throw, sablay.
"Sayang naman Miss Ruki, ano po? Isa pa?" Tiningnan ko yung stuff toy at bumunot pa ulit ng pera sa wallet ko.
First throw, sablay.
Second throw, sablay.
Third throw, close, but not close enough to make it.
Fourth..
"Ayako na!" I almost throw the rings upon the guy but manage to give it back nicely to him. I put my hand inside my pocket and started walking. Napatigil na lang ako sa paglalakad when I noticed that Minseok hyung was not with me. Asan na naman yun? I look back and saw him standing in front of the stall I just cursed. Naglakad ako pabalik sa kanya nad saw him holding five rings. I stared at him.
"Ano yan hyung?" I said, confused.
"Rings." He sarcasticalky answered. Of course I know those are rings! What I'm trying to say is that--tss, nevermind.
