Chapter 19

George's POV

When I came downstairs after everyone was already in bed I was surprised to see that Emily wasn't there. She's usually here before me. I just sat down and started to wait.

After an hour or so Professor McGonagall came into the common room and Percy came in with her, he looked like he had seen a ghost. They went straight up to the boys dormitory. After a few minutes they came back down and now Harry was with them.

I had nothing to do after they left so I decided to just keep waiting.

Harry's POV

I was woken up by Professor McGonagall and Percy was with her, he looked a bit rattled. She asked me to come with them to the hospital wing. We headed towards the hospital wing and she said that it will be a shock and I had a really bad feeling about this.

When we came to the hospital wing my heart dropped. In a bed was Emily, and she was petrified.

Percy found her, she was just outside Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. What was she doing there?

Emily's POV

It's bright here... Where am I?
"Emily! You're awake!" I only saw alot of hair before Hermione hugged me. We were in the hospital wing. She told me that she got petrified as well after she found out what the monster is, she was about to tell the boys when it happened.

I asked her what time it was and she said that the feast had just started. We were the only students left in the hospital wing.
Madam Pomfrey came by where we sar and told us that we could go down to the feast, we thanked her and started walking downstairs.

"Harry!" I ran to him as soon as I saw him, he hugged me and we stayed like that for a few moments.

As soon as we stopped hugging someone else hugged me. It was George, I was surprised but hugged him back. "I'm glad you're okay" I heard him say just before he let go of me.

Hermione hugged Harry as well, then we sat down and ate. Harry and Ron told me and Hermione what happened, about the chamber, Tom, Ginny, the snake and Professor Lockhart.

After Justin apoligized to Harry and Hagrid came into the Great Hall and thanked Harry and Ron, we found out that Gryffindor won the house cup, thanks to Harry and Ron, again. Then Professor McGonagall said that the exams had been cancelled, Hermione didn't like that but I didn't mind, neither did Harry or any of the others.

When Dumbledore said that Professor Lockhart wouldn't come back next year I cheered with the others, maybe a little bit more then the others. When Ron said that it was a shame, that he was starting to grow on him, I laughed and said "Me too"

Just before we had to go on the train to go home George asked me to follow him, I asked him where but he wouldn't answer, he just said that he would tell me in a minute. After awhile I saw where we were going, we were going to the hospital wing. When we got there George told me to tell madman Pomfrey about the nightmares I keep having. She got me a potion that makes me have dreamless sleep, she got me a few bottles of it so it should last me till I start school again.

When the train stopped at King's Cross, we said goodbye to everyone and walked to where our uncle and aunt were.
I don't know what to expect for this summer, I'm a bit nervous.
