11 months later
"Wow," I mutter to myself as I rethink about things, I laid in bed staring at the ceiling, piecing together what has happened in the past 11 months; the friendships I've become so distant from; the people I hardly see or speak to anymore- well, I do still speak to some but I wouldn't say I'm the closest with them anymore. I miss them all, a lot, I mean I haven't entirely lost them but I just miss how close I was with them. I hardly see Nakitta and Colleen anymore and I also hardly see Luke anymore, which is weird because I'm so use to spending everyday with him. I guess that all changed when I started dating Josh, not like dating him is a problem I guess but the things that happened in the past 11 months are to blame for my friendships becoming so distant, I don't really talk about them to Nakitta or Luke because structuring the right sentence to tell them why I don't really see them anymore isn't the easiest thing so I just tell them I'm busy, telling a little white lie which leads to another, and another which eventually leads to so many more white lies. It's not like I don't want to spend time with them because I do, of course I do but it's just.. never mind.

Sighing to myself, I put the damper on my mood to the back of my head because today -hopefully-, I'm going to be seeing Luke, properly seeing him.
"Like old times," I whispered to myself as I unlocked my phone to text him to see what times I were going to see him.
As I was texting him, I recieved a text from Josh:
I'm coming round to yours later, around 5, so make sure you're in and not hanging with that Luke for too long.
Tapping at my phone to reply
You're the reason why I don't talk to him much anymore
I deleted the text and rewrote it
Okay, that's fine, see you later x
I planned to spend the whole day with Luke but I guess my plans had changed.
After sending the text to Josh, I had a text from Luke giving me the time of 11am to meet him at his, I was practically ready so I did a last touch up of my make up and headed towards his. Luke's house was a 5 minute walk from mine so it wouldn't take long.

I finally arrived at Luke's to be greeted at his front door by Liz, his mum. Liz had always been a second mum to me because of the friendship Luke and I had. I'd be around at his and she'd see it as a normal thing, my mum was use to that too.
"Hello, darling! Haven't seen you in a while," she exclaimed, pulling me into her arms and welcoming me with a hug.
"Ah, yeah I know it has been! Been really busy with my exams and school work," I explained, that was partly why I don't spend much time at their house anymore but it wasn't entirely.
"Luke will still be upstairs, so just head on up there," she said whilst letting me in and pointing up the staircase.
"Thank you, see you in a bit," I smiled before walking upstairs.
I knocked on Luke's door before opening and walking in, I saw him sat on the edge of his bed with an xbox controller in his hands whilst he played Fifa.
"Shit, sorry!" Luke began throwing his controller behind him and standing up, "I didn't realise you were here otherwise I'd have come downstairs and welcomed you myself," he continued giving me a hug.
"No, Luke, it's fine, don't worry," I smiled pulling away from the hug. "I've missed my best friends hug," I added in.
"I've missed my best friend," he admitted, sitting back down on his bed. "So, what's the plan for today then?" He asked.
