After taking a shower I got dressed and prepared to leave. I slammed the door shut, the way Jay asked me to. I arrived at school on time and made my way to my classroom. My classmates were already waiting and I walked over to Yuhei.

"Morning", I greet him and he looks up to me.

"Morning. You were absent yesterday. Are you feeling better?", he asks.

"Yeah, thanks. Why are we waiting infront of the classroom?", I look around.

"You forgot? Good that I reminded your parents yesterday", I stare at him, waiting for the explanation,"From today onwards, we're going to have a new teacher, so all the parents were asked to come", Yuhei sighs.

Someone walks over to us and we look at him, surprised. He is wearing sunglasses, a scarf and a hoodie. He looks like the person your parents always told you not to talk to. He is way more than just 'suspicious'.

"Is Jay in this class?", he asks and catches the attention of the others around us.

"H-huh? Ah, yeah, he is", Yuhei answers the stranger while I just stand there, speechless,"Why are you asking? And who ar-"

Yuhei is interrupted by some strange sound. It's almost like - a stomach growling?

"Jeez", he puts his hand on his belly,"That's it. I'm going to starve to death"

Just then we hear someone running up the stairs and the person coming into sight is-

"Jay!", I call out to him and he walks over to us.

He is breathing heavily and sweat is running down his forehead.

"Where were you? What happened?", his eyes are fixed on the floor as he tries to catch his breath.

He hands a paper bag to the stranger,"Fuck you".

"Thanks, man", he takes a burger out of the bag and starts eating it, a childish grin on his face.

We stare at the two of them but turn away as when the halway becomes noisy. The parents arrive.

"Ah, Fushimi-kun, there you are", our teacher walks over to us and smiles,"I couldn't find you yesterday after school, I'm sorry I couldn't inform you about it. But Fujimoto-kun said he would pass the message on to you."

"I see. Thank you. But I didn't receive any message", he turns to Fujimoto with a smile on his face,"maybe because I didn't give him my number."

The teacher looks over to Fujimoto with a confused expression,"I-I see. I'm sorry. Does that mean your parents aren't here?"

Keeping his smile, his hand reaches behind him and grabs the collar of the person who began to walk away and spins him around, "Instead of my parents, my older brother is here."

Jay's older brother, eating his burger, slowly takes another bite and carefully continues chewing.
