Part 21

After walking all the way to my house, we stand infront of the door, waiting for someone to open it so we can enter.

"Aki! Welcome back. And you too, Fushimi-kun.", my mother greets us as she opens the door.

I walk in and turn around, noticing that Jay is still standing outside. Before I can ask him what's wrong Jay already answers.

"Sorry. There's something I need to do. See you later", apologaticaly, he turns around and hastily walks off to another direction than we came from.

"Why didn't he come inside?", mother ask from inside the kitchen, washing dishes.

"He still had things to do. And so do I. I'll be in my room doing my homework", I explain.

"Ah, Aki, we're going shopping this evening. Why don't go with us? Your sister and her friend are going as well"

Thinking about it for a moment, I agree to tag along, because I don't have anything else planned for tonight.

"Are you staying over?", I ask my sister's friend as we all get into the car.

"Yea, for a week. My parents left for their honeymoon", she answers while putting on her seat belt.

"That's right, your father remarried, didn't he? How's your new baby sister?", mother asks.

"Yeah, I'm glad. Father seemed really down after he and mom got a divorce, but now he smiles again. Mai-chan is doing great, she's staying over at her grandparents' house."

The whole ride to the supermarket the women talked about Haruka new family members, after that music and now we got to fashion.

"You've seen the new ad for that first class jewelry, haven't you?", my sister ask Haruka with her fangirlish high pitched voice.

"You mean the one with Miyazaki Takashi, right? Of course I have! It's hard not to, when they are EVERYWHERE in town! Oh my gowsh, he looked sooo hot in them!", Haruka squeaks in return.

"Yess! Usually, when a guy wears jewelry, he seems kind of girly, but HE looks like some prince!"

"I would give everything to meet him in person. If we would meet, we'd definitely fall in love, get married and have kids together!"

"Yeah, right. Dream on. That's never going to happen. You don't meet a celebrity just like that", they both sigh, giving up on the idea.

"? Wasn't that the name of the guy who came to the parent-teacher-meeting yesterday?", mother asks me from the passenger's seat.

"Hm? Ah, yeah. That was him", I try to sound as calm and composed as possible.

"WHAT!?!", the two fangirls shout so loud that even my father, sitting infront of me, flinches.

"Is it true?! Why? Why would he be there? Why didn't you take any pictures??", Ayumi tugs at our mother's jacket.

"Well, I don't know if it is true or not. I don't know him, but Aki's classmates said so"

"What do you mean you don't know him? You even admired him when you saw his ad! You said he looked like a foreign prince!"

"What? That was him? I didn't know his name! And I didn't get to see his face! No way!", my mother, clearly in shock, turns to face me with a disappointed expression,"Aki! Invite him over to our house so I can see his face up close! Of course, together with Fushimi-kun."

"Wait, you can 'invite' him?! How !?", Haruka ask, wide eyed.

"Fushimi-kun? You mean the gorgeous looking foreigner who saved us? The guy's place brother was staying at these past days?"

"Yeah, so just calm down. All of you."

I spent the rest of the ride explaining that Miyazaki Takashi, Fushimi Rey and Jay were actually brothers and that they weren't allowed to tell anybody.
