"This apartment is HUMONGOUS!", Rina and Narumi storm into the living room and look around curiously.

"Woah, it really is spacious", Yuhei stands besides me and does the same as the girls.

Not caring about their excitement, Takashi, walks into the room next to the couch. After a few seconds he returns with ice cream in his hands and nonchalantly takes out a beanback from beneath the staircase, sits down in the middle of the room, and starts eating.

"Are there some more of those?", I ask looking down on the person next to me.

"Yea", after a moment he looks up at me and we stare at each other, "What? You expect me to get you one?"

Feeling a little bit offended I walk over to the staircase and take out two more of those beanbacks so Yuhei and I can sit down. The girls sitting on the couch, we sit down opposite from them.

"Soooo", Rina begins and looks over at Narumi.

She returns the look and both turn to me, "what's with you and Jay?"

Surprised by the question I avert my eyes and feel my face getting hotter by each passing minute, "N-nothing. Why are you asking? Why do you think there's something going on between us?"

"Because...", Rina starts and looks over at Yuhei.

"...that's the same way Yuhei acts with his lover", Narumi finishes and we all stare at him, while he sits here, blushing.

"Lover? Who? This is the first time I hear about this", he turns towards me and studies my face.

"I was kinda afraid of telling you...because we, like, ehm...", seeing the apologetic look on his face, I just can't be mad at him anymore, "it's just, you see..."

"He has a BOYfriend", the girls say simultaneously.

Shocked, I stare at him, while he avoids my eyes.

"Why did you never tell me?"

"Because, I was kind of afraid. It's not like I don't trust you or something. It's BECAUSE you are my best friend. I didn't want you to hate me"

I pull him in for a hug, "As if. I'm happy for you. I really am, no matter what"

"Thanks"

"Alright guys. We wanted to tell you sooner Aki, but Yuhei was too scared", a grin appeared on their lips as they look at me, "What's with you and Jay? Is there something going on between the two of you? Come on, tell us!"

"N-nothing. Really", I turn to Takashi who has been busy doing things on his mobile this whole time,"A-about Jay, when is he going to come home? Where is he anyways?"

"I don't know. Working", he answers me without even looking up from his phone.

"Isn't he a little... arrogant?", Rina whispers to Narumi.

"Could you be a little less arrogant?! I mean, Aki IS Jay's lover, you know?!"

"Excuse me!?", he looks at her, his eyes filled with rage.
