"Good morning," I chirped to Chad. Lowering myself onto the couch, I glanced in his direction.

I sure hoped he was in a better mode. There was a vast pool of questions that circled around my head that I'd been dying to ask him. Wanting to hear all about his trip, I prayed he'd be a little nicer today.

"Morning," he mumbled back.

I didn't know what else to say after that not so peppy greeting. Was I suppose to approach what we were talking about last night? Was I even suppose to say anything at all?

After clearing his throat, Chad spoke, "What time are you leaving?"

"Gee, it's great time we spent together. Want me gone so early?" I snorted.

Chad smirked, "No, actually we will spend the day together. I have a great idea on what we can do."

Oh lord. I couldn't even fathom what Chad wanted to do. It probably would be something I had zero interest in.

"Oh really? What are we going to do?"

"We're gonna fuck all day." Chad grinned at me.

I know I wasn't going to like it.

"What's wrong? Not what you had in mind? I mean I just figured since you couldn't wait 'til I got back you wouldn't mind just going all day."

He was such an asshole. I had told him the truth, why is he mad? I understand what I did was wrong but it's not like he didn't do it before. In a way, we were even.

"Chad, why can't we just go back to being normal. Last night for like five minutes, you were yourself. You were sweet and loving."

Shaking his head, Chad began to get mad, "Don't fucking change the subject, Aubrey. It's not about that. It's about the fact that you fucked  another guy while I was in fucking Europe visitng my fucking parents. Seriously? Do you have any  fucking idea how pathetic that sounds?"

I was being so emotional. It was defiantly that time of the month. I felt a tear began to push in my ducts as I spoke, " Can we please stop? I love you so much Chad. All I want is for us to be able to be ourselves again. I miss our relationship so much."

"Let's go talk to Colton. Would that be fine?" Chad sweetened his voice.

Scooting closer to him, I asked, "What would you need to talk to him about?"

Our knees were almost touching now. I was waiting for Chad to scoop me up in his arms and tell me it'd be okay, that'd we'd work it all out or that it didn't matter.

"Well Aubrey, I need to teach him a fucking lesson. "

The tears pushed harder. "You can't hit him, Chad. Please don't hit him."

Chad's fingers danced onto my knee, "Baby, I'm not going to hit him. I'm not going to be nice though."

Baby. Just saying that word alone made me feel like he's back. It was a comforting word when he spoke it.

Glancing up, I examined his face. You could see the tiredness in his eyes. I'm sure he was a little jet legged. "What are you going to do?"

"You'll see," Pushing a piece of hair behind my ear, Chad deviously smirked.
