"Jesus Christ! Chad, shut the fuck up!" Colton threw his head back in annoyance. His head rested on the edge of the couch. I watched his thick black hair hang.
Chad's eyes rolled, showing off his attitude. "Colton, the less you bitch the faster I'm done."
I looked away from the two of them and twiddled with my thumbs. For over an hour this has been going on. Bantering back and forth over me. Not lying, it was amusing to see boys bickering over me but now it was old. I just wanted to spend time with Chad and let this be over.
"Chad I fucking get it. I now know to keep my distance and I'm gonna have to learn some boundaries. What more do you need to say?" Colton wasn't afraid of Chad anymore. He was willing to fight him to no end.
Chad softened his tone, "Not only that but Colton, I want to be friends."
My head shot up from my gaze. Did I just hear Chad correctly? He said he wanted to be friends with Colton.
"Pfftt. How long did Aubrey say she'd fuck you for that one?" Colton snickered.
I couldn't help but giggled myself. That was a good come back.
"Excuse me?" Chad's eyes bulged out.
I kept my eyes locked on the two of them. What ever was about to happen was either going to be funny or bad.
Colton cocked his head, "I'm sorry did you not understand me? How long, long as time, did Aubrey, the hot girl over there with an amazing ass, say she'd fuck you, fuck as in have sex?"
Biting his lip, Colton held back the laughter. I thought it was adorable how he could crack himself up. Especially when he was in a situation where laughter wouldn't help. It was just the cutest.
"I understood you the first time, asshole," Chad rose from his seat.
Colton joined his gesture and stood inches from him, "Who you calling an asshole?"
"You," Shoving Colton's chest, Chad smirked.
Oh no. Oh no, no, no. This couldn't happen ever again. Last time they had fought I'd been the one to get punched in the face. I couldn't let that happen though...
After learning my lesson from the first time, I decided not to jump between them. I needed to keep my ground and let them work it out themselves.
"You know, you got a lot of nerve coming back and acting like this Chad. I mean you treat Aubrey like shit and then you're coming to me acting like an ass. Wow it's really gonna remind us how much we didn't miss you." Colton smiled.
Cheekily, he looked my way and gave me a wink. He was quite pleased with his actions.
Chad shook his head, "Nah, man. You're the one with nerve. You fucked my girlfriend."
Dropping his head down, Colton tapped his foot twice. When he looked back up, he ran a hand into his mop of hair. "You know what? I did fuck her. It was amazing. And if we're being honest here I know I've fucked her more than you have."
Colton was defiantly going to get it.
"Colton, are you planning on dying tonight?"
"Bitch, I might be!" Colton chuckled.
Chad's was a great guy before he left. He treated me well. I felt so loved when Chad and I were together. He was just the sweetest boy ever. Although he had the sweet factor, he will never have to funny side that Colton does. Chad just wasn't good at being goofy. I admired Colton for that amazing quality.
Cracking his knuckles, Chad sneered, "That's it. You're done."
"Bring it on!" Colton brought his fist up right to block a hit.
"You know I will." Getting in stance, Chad smirked.
Not thinking clearly, I stood up tremendously quick. I nearly sprinted to where Chad and Colton were standing in and shouted, "Knock it off!"
I think I stood up rather too fast though. Those familiar stars started to blur my vision from when I was punched by Chad a few months back.
My hand flew out to a shoulder, I'm not sure who exactly it rested on.
"Aubrey, are you okay?" Colton's voice distortedly entered my ears.
Stars began to spin and my legs were wobbly. I was going to pass out. The boys needed to know so they could catch me.
My lips began to part, waiting for my words to expel. I coudln't tell if they did because a constant ringing in my ear took place.
Then everything was black.
~~~Chad's P.O.V~~~
"What the fuck are we supposed to do?" Colton screamed at me.
I looked at Aubrey's limp body, cradled in my arms. My hand urgently caressed the spot where her head at hit the edge of the table, a steady blood flow was coming out.
Removing my hand from her head, I held up my shaking fingers so Colton could look at the blood.
"Chad, what do we do?" Colton's voice quivered.
I was still stunned. My baby had passed out, and cracked her head open while diving into the floor. Maybe I was going into shock.
Colton yelled at me, "Stay with me Chad. Don't lose yourself. Stay strong for Aubrey. You got to do it man."
Nodding my head slowly, I tried to sound strong. "Okay we have to get her to the hospital. "
"Okay. I-I will go get my car ready. You call her mom and tell her to meet us there." Colton called over his shoulder, running up the stairs.
I took my free hand and reached around in my pocket for my phone. My fingers dashed through my phone looking for Aubrey's house number.
"It's okay baby girl," I whispered to Aubrey, as the phone began to ring.
She had to be okay. It was just a little crack right?
"Hello?" A voice projected from my phone's speaker. I had almost forgotten I had dialed it.
"Yeah, hey Lori, it's Chad." I talked as calmly as I could.
A pause. "Chad, Aubrey's not here. What can I help you with?"
"I-I-I know. She's with me." I cursed at myself for stuttering.
"Is everything alright?" Aubrey's mother's voice shook.
"No. Aubrey cracked her head up. She's unconscious right now. Me and a friend are taking her to the hospital. Meet us there."
