Chapter 4

"Aw honey, you look beautiful," My mother said as I came out of my bedroom in my wedding dress at the hotel where we were going to have the wedding reception and everyone was getting ready to go to the church.

"You look stunning," Anna said spinning me around in a circle.

"Aunty Lucy! Aunty Lucy!" My two nieces, Mackenzie and Brooke, came running into the hotel room in their flower girl dresses.

"Yes?" I asked leaning over.

"Ryan says he wants to see you," Mackenzie said out of breath from running.

"Well you tell him too bad," I laughed as they ran back out and down the hall to the guys' room. My mom helped me put on my veil when my sister, Meghan and my Dad walked in the room laughing after the two girls pasted them.

"Lucy, you look amazing!" Meghan said running over to me and hugging me.

"Thanks," I answered turning to my Dad, "How do I look, Dad?"

"Absolutely beautiful," He answered smiling at me.

"Thanks Dad," I answered. The girls came running into the room again.

"Ryan says that your being a big meanie," The girls giggled, "And that he'll see you there."

"Thanks girls," I laughed.

"Time to get going," My mom said, "You two go make sure that the guys are completely gone."

Mackenzie and Brooke ran out ahead of us as we walked down the hall to the elevator. Meghan and my mom helped me down the hall in my wedding dress. When we got to the elevator the girls were waiting for us.

"Uncle Ryan tried to stay but we pushed him into the elevator," Brooke giggled.

"Good job, girls," I laughed as they both high-fived me. We rode down to the lobby and met Ryan's parents and sister who were going to ride with us to the church in the limo.

"You look beautiful," Ryan's parents told me.

"Thank you," I said. Everyone got into the limo and headed towards the church that was right down the road. As they all talked and I kept to myself I started to get butterflies in my stomach. I took a deep breath as the limo pulled up to the church and we got ushered inside to a side room at the front of the church as guests came in.

"We're going to start soon," My older brother, John, came into the room, "Well you look gorgeous."

I laughed as he gave me a hug and handed me my bouquet, "Thanks John." John was my favorite brother out of all my siblings.

Everyone started walking out to the lobby to go sit in their seats while I waited with my Dad, Anna who was going to be escorted by my other brother, Matt and John who was escorting Meghan. I took a deep breath as they opened the doors into the church and the music started and they walked out ahead of us. Mackenzie and Brooke walked out throwing pedals.

"Nervous?" Dad asked.

"A little," I answered taking another deep breath.

He chuckled, "Don't worry you'll be just fine."

The music changed and Dad linked his arm with mine and smiled at me. He led me to the door and we walked in. All the guests were standing facing us as we walked down the aisle but I wasn't looking at them I was looking at the man standing at the altar. Ryan's eyes seemed to sparkle as we got closer to him. He smiled at me and the butterflies went away and so did all the nervousness. I smiled and when we got to the end of the aisle Ryan held out his hand and it felt like when we first met when I had fallen over. Dad handed my hand over to his and the preacher began his speech.
