New teammate

P.O.V. [Name]

We were currently on an airplane headed towards Vale. I looked towards my uncle and saw him looking at the ground rather cautiously. "What's wrong uncle?" I asked looking at him.

"Nothings wrong but I would still like to be cautious I have a few enemies in this town I'd rather not come into contact with." He said as we landed on the ground I noticed a girl around my age with pink and brown hair.

"Who's that?" I asked looking at the girl.

"Someone who works for me. You may want to get to know her seeing as how she's going to be your new partner and all." He said looking at me.

"Right I'm sure if nothing else we'll end up saving your butt quiet a bit." I said with small laugh at the end.

Roman let out a small chuckle and responded with "Who knows maybe she'll end up showing you up a few times."

"Who knows it's possible." I said as the helicopter came to a landing. I walked outside and when we got to the ground the girl with the multicolored hair gave us a slight bow and then straightened herself.

"Hello Neo this is my nephew and your new teammate [Name]." I heard Roman say as we passed.

She offered me a hand and I took it after our brief exchange we headed towards a building and I saw it was riddled with dust. "Let me guess we're taking it right." I said looking at him.

"Yes does this bother you?" He asked looking at me.

"Not really it's kind of like robbing the rich to feed the poor right. Besides it not like the Schnee's is going to miss some of their shipments." I said looking at him.

"Robbing the rich to feed the poor huh." He then let out a small chuckle and continued to say "I like the way you think." I let out a small chuckle and we continued to walk I then noticed that Neo had been quiet so far so I decide to hang back and talk to her.

"Hey something bothering you?" I asked looking at her.

She never said anything she just continued to walk forward.

"Well then why aren't you talking?" I asked her.

She glared at me when I said this.

"Well seeing as how we're going to be teammates I think we should get to know something about each other." I said walking beside her.

"Fine," she said with a sigh at the end "My name is Neopolitan but most call me Neo. My weapon of choice is my umbrella and my favorite food is ice cream. Is that all?" She asked looking at me.

"Not entirely but I guess I could return the favor. My name is [Name] some people call me [Nickname] my weapon of choice is my [Weapon name] My favorite food is [Food of choice] and I'd like to be your friend." I said looking at her.

"I guess there is nothing wrong with wanting to be my friend." She said as she walked forward. I decided to ignore this and ran to catch up with Roman.

I saw several men wearing masks and they looked at me and drew their swords. When they did I pulled out my chain scythe and stepped in front of Roman.

"Are they enemies?" I asked looking at them.

"No they are others that are under my command they just weren't expecting you two." He said as he walked passed me.

"Everyone this is Neo and [Name] you are to answer to them like you answer to me. However they both work for me so if I give an order they can not change it without my say so." He said to which the others nodded and put their weapons away.

I walked passed them and I saw something rather big it looked like a giant robot. "What exactly are you building?" I asked looking at my uncle.

"Well I tried to build a robot a while ago but it wasn't finished and I was forced to use it early because of a pesky thorn in my side." He side swatting at the air.

"Sounds like a pain so I take it since it was still in beta testing-" I began.

"It wasn't hard for them to destroy." He finished.

"Them? I thought you said it was only one?" I asked looking at him.

"Well it was one at first but once the robot was out in the streets she called for her team." He said looking at me.

"So whoever this person is she's a hunter. I also take it she is either against Faunus or she herself is a Faunus that disagrees with our methods." I said looking at him

"Yes you are indeed correct on both accounts. I must admit I'm a little impressed with your skills of deduction." I heard Neo say from behind me.

"Thanks" Was all I managed to say that and I didn't really have much to say to begin with. After we had collected the metal we need as well as some dust we went to a new location.

When we arrived Roman turned to Neo and addressed her "Neo will you please show [Name] Where he will be sleeping?" He asked.

She responded with a bow and saying "Of course Roman." She then walked off and I followed behind her. We made it to two doors that where right across from each other. "The one on the left is yours and the one on the right is mine in case you ever need anything." She said as she walked into her room.

After she had shut her door I looked to mine and went into the room. All that filled the room was a bed and a desk. I shrugged it off and went to lie down for the night. 'I'll try and get to know the others tomorrow.' I thought as I went to sleep.
