Chapter 4: Can I . . .

Alright everyone I have no idea what happened with the last chapter. So here's the real one I'll delete the duplicate chapter later.

P.O.V. [Name]

I was walking down the street with Neo. Ever since that day at the ice cream shop we've been spending a lot more time together. Mainly due to her telling me that she was lonely. Not that I minded of course once you got to know her she was a really nice girl.

A bit childish maybe but nice nonetheless. Although here lately I've been having a little problem. Once in a while Neo acts like she wants to ask me something but can never get it out. The closest she's ever got to finishing is "Can I . . ." Then her face turns really red and she say "Never mind it's not important."

The first time it happened I didn't think anything about it. However now it seems like it pops up in almost every conversation she has with me. I want to know what it is. She always get's red and that usually means someone is embarrassed. So what's so embarrassing.

"Hey [Name]." Neo said looking at me.

"Yeah Neo what is it?" I asked looking at the slightly shorter female in front of me.

"Well can I . . ." Speak of the devil and just like before she becomes extremely red faced. She then turned around and kept walking "Never mind it's not important." She said looking at me.

After we had went and spent the whole day like every other. I walked to my room and went to sleep.

P.O.V. Neo

I got up in the middle of the night and went to the one person I knew would have some useful information on [Name] his Uncle Roman. I looked at his door and knocked on it.

I heard a slight grumbling noise followed by a short "Coming" He then opened the door and looked at me. "Oh it's you Neo what do you want?" he asked looking at me.

"Well I need your help." I said looking at him. "Can I come in?" I asked looking at him.

"Yeah sure." He said letting out a yawn afterwards. I went and sat down on a chair he had and he sat on his bed. "So what do you need help with?" He asked.

"W-well I keep trying to ask your nephew something but I can never get it out. So how do I ask him?" I asked looking at him.

"Well what do you want to ask him?" He asked looking at me.

"I can't tell you that." I said looking at him.

"Well why do you want to ask him this question?" He asked a brow raised.

"I can't tell you that either." I said looking at the ground.

"Alright you're not making this easy neo. . . How about this you pretend I'm [Name] and practice asking me the question." He said looking at me. I nodded and he looked at me.

I pictured [Name]'s face over Roman's "Hey [Name]." I said looking at him.

"Oh hey Neo What's up?" He asked looking at me.

"W-well Can I . . ." I then felt my face heat up massively as I tried to desperately get the words out of my mouth. However when I spoke I found myself saying "Never mind it's not important." NO! Why can't I just ask [Name] a simple question.

P.O.V. Roman

I sighed whatever it was Neo wanted to ask [Name] it was obviously taking its toll on her she had barely gotten any words out before her face . . . turned red. "Oh now I see what's going on." I said aloud.

Neo then looked at me and said "What do you mean?"

"Neo I think I know what's bothering you but first I need you to tell me one thing." I said looking at her.

"Sure Roman what is it?" She asked looking at me.

"What are your feelings on [Name]?" I asked looking at her.

"W-well-

P.O.V. [Name]

I awoke to the sound of Neo yelling at Roman for some reason. The odd thing was Roman was actually yelling back at her. "Damn I didn't know they didn't like each other." I said as I got up and got changed.

When I opened the door I saw Neo slightly red in the face. "You just can't!" She yelled at him.

"Neo this is the only way we are going to get anywhere." He said looking at her.

She then saw me and smiled. She grabbed my hand and jumped up. When we landed I found that we were somewhere else entirely.

"Neo what's going on?" I asked looking at her.

"Well you know how I've been trying to ask you something all week." She said looking at me.

"Yeah is that why you took us somewhere else because Roman was going to tell me what it was?" I asked looking at her.

Her face turned a light shade of pink and she nodded her head in agreement. "So now what?" I asked looking at her.

"What?" She asked looking at me.

"Well the way I see it either you're going to ask me the question or Roman is going to tell me what you want to ask me. So what are we going to do now?" I said looking at her.

"[N-Name] can I . . . ?" Her face then turned beat red and she looked away.

I could tell this was going no where as I saw her struggling to say something. I then remembered something my mom and dad used to tell me. "Hey Neo How about this my parents once told me that it's easier to say something after you do something physically for that person that's related to what you want to say. So try showing me in some physical way what you want to ask." I said looking at her.

"O-okay." She said she then took a deep and before I could say anything else I felt her lips make contact with mine. Wow never knew something like this felt so good. I closed my eyes and my arms somehow found their way around her waist pulling her closer to me.

I felt her tongue run along my lips and I opened up and our tongues met each other for the first time. She tasted sweet like really sweet in fact she almost tasted like . . . ice cream. After we separated she looked at me and said "Can I . . . be your girlfriend?"

I smiled and kissed her forehead. "Sure Neo."

"So when is our first date?" She asked looking at me.
