Chapter 12: Our way

P.O.V. [Name]

I yawned as I woke up and looked at Neo. When I noticed that she wasn't in our bed I began to look around the room. When I did I saw her putting her hair up. Seems like she's getting ready to use her disguise.

I smiled seeing this and got up from bed. When I did I started to get dressed. "So what's the plan?" I asked looking at her.

"I'll put on my disguise so we're a bit harder to track. Then we'll go and see if Atlas has any secret criminal groups. I know that the other three kingdoms have them but since this is Atlas I'm not sure," she said looking at me.

I nodded hearing and turned to her. "Okay, sounds like a decent plan," I said looking at her. She then puffed out her cheeks and crossed her arms.

"It's the best I could do on such short notice," she said looking at me. I guess I can't really blame her. I had just as much time to think of something and couldn't. I then heard a knock on the door and turned to Neo.

When I did she nodded and got the sword from her umbrella. I then grabbed my weapon and readied myself. I then opened the door ready to attack but when I did I saw uncle Roman and someone else that I didn't recognize staring at me.

"U-uncle!" I said as I moved forward and hugged him. When I did he smiled and returned my hug. "This is amazing! How did you escape?" I asked looking at him.

"That's all thanks to my friend here," He said as he made a gestured to his friend.

"I am Adam," he said looking at me.

"Oh uh nice to meet you," I said looking at him. I then remembered what was happening and where we were. "Come in quickly," I said looking at them. When I said this they walked in and shut the door

Roman then sighed and looked at me. "You know when I told you about this place I was secretly hoping you'd never have to use it," Uncle said looking at me.

"Yeah," I said as I locked the door. "So what do we do now?" I asked looking at my uncle. "We both know what Cinders plan is, and you should know better than anyone that we don't have much time," I said looking at uncle.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that," Uncle said looking at me. I looked at him a little questioningly and he smiled. "Adam made sure that we caused some damage as we left," Uncle said with a smile.

"Yeah," he said with a slight smirk. "Most of her army were members of the White Fang. Those who didn't turn on her immediately are traitors. However I also know that some may have done what they did out of fear. So they may leave her as well soon," he said calmly. "However that's something that we can't count on," he said which made me a little more upset. Although what he said was true.

"So what's the plan?" Uncle asked looking at me.

"Plan?" I asked a little confused.

"Yes, Roman assured me that you'd have some form of a plan," Adam said as he sat down.

"Well, Neo suggested that we go try to find any criminal organizations that Atlas has. If they do then it shouldn't be that hard to recruit a few of them," I said looking at the two in front of me.

"Good plan, but it won't work," Adam said looking at us.

"Why not?" I asked looking at him.

"Atlas doesn't have any criminal organizations. Most people are to intimidated to form something like that in Atlas because of it's large military prowess. However there have been a few that have tried, but they were all found and disband within a month," Adam said bluntly.

I sighed hearing this and sat down. Well at least he saved us some time. Neo then sat beside me and sighed. "No matter," Roman said looking at us. "Like [Name] said we already know Cinder's plan. However given her current state I think she'll focus more on her recovery than trying to find us," Uncle said looking at us.

"So what do you suggest we do?" Neo asked as she wrapped her arms around me.

"Simple there's four of us and only three threats we really need to worry about from them. Her Mercury and Emerald, the grunt that she has aren't much of a threat. So if we figure out where the three of them are going to be during their plan then we can counter them at every turn," Uncle said looking at me.

"How do we do that?" Adam asked looking at us.

"Leave that to these two," Uncle said as he gestured to me and Neo.

"Us?" I asked a little confused.

"Yes, the two of you broke into a bank with top of the line security and didn't sound an alarm. In fact they didn't even realize how much money they were missing until a few days later. If you can figure out where those guards would be and what time they'd be there then I'm more than confident that you two can figure out where they'll be," Uncle said looking at us.

"He's right," Neo said close to me.

"Yeah, if we have enough time I'm sure we can figure it out!" I said confidently, my uncle smiled hearing this.

"Well sounds like we have our plan," Adam said as he looked at us. I nodded hearing this and smiled. It's nice that things are finally starting to go our way, and with any luck we'll actually manage to defeat Cinder.
