Skylah's POV

As I finished preparing breakfast, I hurried up the stairs to wake my twin sister, Mikhaila, up.

"Hey lazy bones, wake up." I said, shaking Mikhaila.
We arrived here at Washington just yesterday. So I can understand her lazy ass not moving a tiny bit.

She murmured something and rolled over the bed. "Fuck off."

"Language, Missy. I'm older than you."

"For three fucking minutes!" She retorted.

I sighed. "Breakfast's ready."

She still didn't move.

"Looks like the bacon's all mine."

I already turned my back on her, but I knew her eyes popped open and started to stand up and tried running. But being the clumsy git she is, she tripped. On air.

I sighed again and started walking down the stairs when suddenly Mikhaila pushed me aside and rushed down. "THANK YOU SO MUCH SKYLAH, I LOVE YOU!!! I LOVE BACON!!"

"Yeah, sure," I smiled. I sat beside her and read my new book, Maximum Ride.

"Mom and Dad are out to take care of business and stuff." I said, never keeping my eyes off my book.

"They're always out." She mumbled.

You see, we own a small construction business with a few branches in this state so we are a bit well off and a new branch is here, so tada!

Mikhaila almost choked on her bacon as she remembered something she should never have forgotten.

"It's the first day of our class at Royal State Academy, isn't it?!
They say that they have the best basketball and soccer team in the whole state! I'm so excited, I could just pee!
I could care less about all the other shit in school."

"You know, you should really start taking school seriously.
It's senior year Khai, and if you don't pass your subjects, you won't get into a good college, you won't find a prestigious job-"

"Chill sis... You keep rambling like this and we'll be late for school, then you won't get your high grades anymore and etc.,etc..." She said while laughing.

I glared at her and puffed.Unfortunately she didn't choke on the bacon and we were literally minutes away from being late.

"You better hurry up, time's running out and if you don't you can just take the bus." I told her.

She then finished her meal and quickly took off to her room to prepare for school.

While I was already ready about an hour ago for our first day of class at Royal State Academy.

Yes. We transferred midterm because we landed a full scholarship in the one of the most prestigious schools of the entire American countinent.

I don't even remember how I entered but I'm glad I did.
Khai got to enter because of a championship in our old town about basketball and soccer.
Luckily it landed on the newspaper and BOOM!
Everything happened.

I heard her trip again which made her yell cuss words .

I will repeat this again just so we are all clear.....

She is such a clumsy git...
