Rosalie & Emmett; Their Miracle

Alice's Wonderful Idea

"Emmalie what's wrong?" I coo to her as she sits on my lap.

"I miss daddy." She snuggles into my chest.

"He's coming back soon, he just went to hunt for food, for us." I kiss her gently on the top of her head.

"When is soon?" She sighs.

"I don't know but he will be back."

Emmalie is definitely a daddy's girl. Emmett and her have a special bond. He plays games with her, they go for walks together and he shows her all of the fish in the creek next to the house. She seems to be always bored if she doesn't have Renesmee or her father around.

"Where is Nessie then?" She asks me.

"She is still asleep bubba. It's still early in the morning." I rock Emmalie in my arms.

Emmalie adjusts herself so that she is looking at my face. She stares at it and then says, "Mummy you are pretty."

"Thank you baby. Not as pretty as you." I smile.

"No you are way prettier, I want to be just like you when I grow up." She laughs.

"Aw you're mummy's favourite little girl." I hug her.

Then with my supernatural hearing I hear the sound of a door opening from the front, and soon enough I hear three male voices laughing and chatting.

Emmalie must have heard it too because she runs towards the noise yelling, "Daddy!"

I follow her and watch her as she jumps into Emmett's arms.

"Hello princess." He says.

Emmalie cups her hands around Emmett's face and gives him a peck on the lips.

Following Emmett is Edward and Jasper. Jasper walks in holding an elk. Yum, I'm starving.

"How's my queen doing?" Emmett kisses me on the lips whilst still holding Emmalie.

"I'm great. How's my King?" I say

"Extra fine with you around." He says with an Elvis voice.

Emmalie laughs at the tone he used.

"Rose." I hear Edward call from the kitchen, "come get some blood for Emmalie and yourself."

I walk into the kitchen with Emmett and Emmalie following.

Emmalie jumps down from Emmett's arms and runs to collect her cup of elk blood from Edward.

Emmalie much prefers a vampire diet than human. She eats human food but she seems to enjoy blood better.

As she collects her cup of food she asks Edward, "Where is Nessie Uncle Edward?"

"She is with Bella, she just woke up and will be here in a few minutes." He replies

Bella and Edward have their little cottage outside the main house. Renesmee sleeps there and that's where all of their stuff belongs.

Emmett and I have never really gotten around to building a cottage outside this house, like bella's and Edward's. We are fine staying here for now. Once Emmalie is older we will eventually move into a cottage. Then I hear the tiny stomps of feet coming from the front of the kitchen, near the entrance.

"Emmalie!" Squeals Renesmee. The both run, tackling each other with a hug. They giggle uncontrollably.

"Renesmee, your drink is here." Says Edward. Renesmee holds Emmalie's hand and they collect Renesmee's drink.

"Mmmm.... Elk blood!" smiles Renesmee. Emmalie collects her cup and the girls both sit down at the dining room table, beside the kitchen. Then Alice and Bella enter the room.

Skipping in Alice says, "Sit down, i have a wonderful idea."

Emmett and I sit on the two spare chairs beside Emmalie at the dining room table. Bella and Edward sit opposite to Emmalie, Emmett and I, next to Renesmee. Alice moves another chair beside the chair already at the head of the table and sits down next to jasper.

"So what is your 'wonderful idea'" i quote Alice.

"As you know, it's Carlisle's birthday next week and i was thinking we should do something fun to celebrate it. I was thinking we could all go down and visit Isle Esme down near Rio. It would be perfect as we can stay ourselves instead of pretend to be human like a normal vacation. I've already spoken to Esme, her and Carlisle are happy to go." Alice utters.

"Does Carlisle know that it's for his birthday?" Asks Bella.

"Well he does, but i was thinking we could throw him a surprise birthday party. Carlisle and Esme will stay in the main room. Jasper and I will stay in another room. Edward and Bella will have to share a room as well as Emmett and Rosalie."

"What about the girls?" I ask, referring to Emmalie and Renesmee.

"They will share another room together." Alice smiles.

Renesmee and Emmalie look at each other with excited expressions on their faces.

"Are you okay with that girls?" I ask.

"Yes mumma, Nessie and I will be angels and we promise we will be good." She speaks in a confident tone.

Ever since Emmalie was born, i haven't not stayed with her whilst she slept. but how can i say no to that little face?

"Okay." I kiss her on her cheek.

"Alright Alice. When do we leave?" Asks Edward.

"Next Monday."

Monday has arrived very quickly. Today is the day we leave for Isle Esme. Our flight leaves at 10am and it's now 7am, Emmalie is still asleep.
"Baby, Emmalie." I coo, "Time to wake up."
She slowly opens her eyes and blinks a few times. Trying to make sense of her surroundings she asks, "Mumma?"
"Yes baby, it's me. It's time to wake up because guess where we are going today."
"Island Esme!" She wakes up more with excitement. She sits up and asks, "Where is daddy?"
"Downstairs. He has your breakfast. Renesmee is also waiting for you."
Alice and Jasper left yesterday afternoon so they could go and collect things for Carlisle's party. Edward, Bella, Emmett and I thought it would be good if we went together so that the girls were together on their first plane flight.
I lift Emmalie out of the double bed we got for her to sleep in, which stays in Emmett and my room.
"Go get dressed into this." I said handing her, her outfit.
Minutes later Emmalie comes walking out of our walk in wardrobe wearing her yellow beach dress. I lift her into my arm and walk her down the stairs to the living room where everyone is waiting.
Emmett hands Emmalie her sippy cup with mountain lion blood in it.
"Okay time to go." Says Edward, With Renesmee in her arms Bella follows him.
Bella and Edward take their car with Renesmee to the airport.
Emmett carries our suit cases to the drive way and I hold Emmalie.
I strap her into her booster seat in the back of our car whilst Emmett places the suit cases in the trunk.
I sit myself in the passenger's seat and Emmett drives.
"Isle Esme here we come!" Says Emmett exited.
I hear Emmalie giggling in the back.
