Rosalie & Emmett; Their Miracle

Can't Look Like This

Today we are going back to Forks. It's been a few weeks here in Volterra and I think I'm ready to leave. It beautiful here but I miss home.
I look at my self in the mirror of the bathroom. My blonde curls fall just below my shoulders. Most people in my family feel that I am vain. I'm not, I just act that way. I feel like I need to be perfect not just for me, but for Emmett as well. Even if one curl was sitting out of place, I don't feel comfortable. It sounds ridiculous and I know that Emmett would love me no matter what... Well at least that's what I hope. I sigh as I turn the running water off, twisting the tap handle off.
"You ready?" Emmett asks me, leaning on the door way. He startles me. I shoot my gaze to him in the mirror. He chuckles and walks over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist, from behind.
"You scared me." I mumble. He lightly kisses me on the back of my head. I turn around smirking, craving more. I want him. I don't hesitate to kiss him passionately. He kisses me back. He pulls me closely to him and I wrap my arms around his shoulders. Then we are interrupted by Emmalie.
"Daddy!" She yells from her room. I break the kiss and sigh.
"I'll go see what she wants." Emmett mutters. He tugs me along, holding my hand. We walk to her bedroom and Emmett opens the door. Emmalie tries to lift her suit case but it's too heavy for her.
"Daddy... It too heavy for me." She wines. Emmett lifts up the suit case with ease. It looked like a big rock when Emmalie was trying to lift it, but with Emmett it was like a light feather.
"Thanks dad." She smiles. Emmett ruffles her hair and smiles.
"No problem."
She makes her way over to me and cuddles into my legs. I pick her up off the ground and sit her on my hips.

"It feels good to be home." I sigh with relief. I lay my head on Emmett's chest.
"Yeah. It does." He replies. We are laying down in our room. Emmalie is downstairs with Renesmee. The whole family is home, doing there own thing. I feel Emmett playing with my curls.
"So do you know what everybody's doing?" I utter, curious. Tonight I knew that Jacob was coming over. The thought of him made me shiver... I have always disliked him.
"Well you know Jacob's coming. I'm pretty sure Seth and Leah are also coming-" Emmett gets cut off by Alice, racing through the door. She stands at the head of our bed.
"What's up?" Says Emmett.
"Jessica, Mike, Erica and Angela are coming over!" She chimes. I roll my eyes. Why would they be coming over? It's been a few years since we've seen them. Well actually the last time we saw them was at Bella, Jasper, Alice and Edward's Graduation party. Well that was the last time for Emmett and I.
"What about Emmalie?" I utter, "what are we going to tell them?"
Alice looks around the room for a bit, trying to come up with a story.
"Just say that you had her just after you finished school." She smiles. I sigh.
"It will be okay Rosie." Coo's Emmett. If I could blush I would be blushing right now. I like it when he calls me 'Rosie' it's adorable.
"Why are they coming over anyways?" I question.
"Bella wanted to see them. Originally she was going to go have dinner with them at a restaurant, with just Edward and her. But then Edward decided to invite them here." Says Alice. I nod my head. I really don't feel like seeing them. It's been a few years since we've seen them. I'm not sure how Emmalie would feel and she's my main priority. I just want her to be comfortable.
"Yeah. I'm gonna talk to Emmalie." I say and stand up off the bed. Alice makes her way out of the room. I tug Emmett up off of the bed. Before we can leave her hugs me and kisses me. In between the kiss he whispers, "we'll be fine."
We walk out the door, down the stairs, holding hands. Before we enter the lounge room I hear Emmalie's laugh. Just her voice brings a smile to my face. We walk into the lounge room and Emmalie smiles up at us.
"Hey mummy and daddy." She says.
"Hello baby, hey Nessie." I say. We sit on the couch and Emmalie crawls onto Emmett's lap and sits on his knee and Renesmee cuddles into me.
"Did you know that my Jacob is coming over tonight." Smiles Ness.
"Yes I did." I smile back. 'Yay, Jacob' I think sarcastically. I really don't like Jacob, Seth is okay and Emmett seems to like him as well. Although, Emmett likes everyone and is really easy going. Sometimes I wonder why he is with me, I'm the opposite. We hear someone coming through the door. It's bella and Edward. Renesmee jumps off of the couch to Bella and Edward. Edward scoops her up in his arms and she giggles. Bella makes her way over and sits beside me.
"Rosalie, are you okay with what's happening tonight?" She asks me.
I nod my head, "yeah it's fine."
"Okay, are you sure?" She cocks an eyebrow.
"Yeah." I smile. She smiles back. I'm sure Emmalie would be okay, she is a people person like her dad.
"You ready to meet new people tonight?" Emmett coo's to Emmalie.
"Mhm... Who?" She asks.
"Some of my old friends." Says Bella.
"Okay." Says Emmalie, "except I can't look like this."
Everyone laughs at the cuteness. She definitely got that from Alice.
"Okay then. Come one we'll get ready." I say and stand up. I gesture for Emmalie to hold my hand. She takes my hand and I lead her up the stairs.
