Rosalie & Emmett; Their Miracle

It's Happening Again

"We're home!" Emmalie runs through the front door of our house, squealing.
Emmett takes both of our family suit cases upstairs to our bedroom.
"Emmalie come here to mum." I yell, Emmalie already made her way to her play room.
She comes running back and I bend down to her height.
"Do you want to go stay the night with Nessie at Uncle Edward's and Aunty Bella's cottage?" I say.
"Yes!" She laughs.
"Okay, go with Aunty Bella."
Bella and Edward walk past the front door to their cottage and Emmalie runs out following Bella and Edward. I stand up and watch them walk to their cottage with Emmalie in Edward's arms.
"Babe." I hear Emmett say from upstairs, "come here."
I sprint up the stair and I'm there in less than 1 second.
"What?" I ask, confused.
"Want to go hunting?" He asks excitedly. I groan... I don't really feel like hunting. I'm a bit 'tired' from our trip back home from isle Esme. Then again, I am really thirsty. I haven't feed in a week.
"Yeah." I say, almost underneath my breath. Emmett grins like he is planning something. I take a step back, raising an eyebrow. Then before I can even process what is happening, Emmett lifts me onto his back and I grip onto him as he sprint for the forest. I laugh and cuddle into him as he runs. We go deep into the forest and Emmett stops. I lean around his head and kiss him on the check, landing onto the floor.
"You know I can run myself?" I chuckle.
"I didn't want you to re-think your decision. Besides, we haven't had some alone time." He cuddles into me.
I stare into his eyes, trying to tease him. I know it's working because he starts to lose focus of what around him and he only looks at me. I then kiss him on the lips, quickly, then pull away.
"Later." I wink and break away from the hug. He sighs. I hear the sound of a grizzly bear walking around behind me, that's Emmett's favourite meal. I turn towards the sound. Emmett must have heard it too because he stands tall beside me.
"My favourite." He chuckles.
We slowly creep towards the sound.

"Hey mummy, what's Christmas?" Emmalie asks, cuddling into me. I stroke her blonde ringlets.
"Well, it's when Santa comes to give presents." I smile.
"Is Santa going to give me a present?" She looks up at me and flutters her long eyelashes.
"Yes sweetie." I chuckle at how cute she looks.
She has grown up so much. It's been a year and a half since her birth. She is technically only 1 years old but she is growing into the look of a 5 year old. Renesmee is 7 so they both look two years different.
"When is Christmas?" She asks.
"Next week."
She leans her head on my shoulder and starts to close her eyes. She's tired after a day at the shops with Alice and Renesmee. I kiss her softly on the forehead. Then Emmett walks into the entry of the lounge room.
"Hello." He whispers so that only I can hear.
"Hey." I whisper back, "where is everyone?"
"Jasper and Alice are hunting. Carlisle is working an extra shift at the hospital and Esme was running a few errands. Bella and Edward are with Ness, at their cottage."
I nod my head and adjust Emmalie's position.
"I might go and put her in bed." I say and being to stand up.
"No it's okay, I'll take her." Emmett offers. I hand an asleep Emmalie to Emmett. He quickly runs at Vampire speed and I hear him place Emmalie in her tiny bed, in her own bedroom. Edward kindly gave us his room because he is living in their cottage now. So Edwards old room is now Emmalie's.
Then Emmett comes through the entry again and sits beside me. I cuddle into him and he puts one arm around me.
Then her grabs the TV remote and turns it on, playing a football game.
Alice and Jasper walk through the entry and sit down on the other couch opposite to us. Alice holds a bag and opens it.
"Hello. So today I bought some stuff for Emmalie and Nessie. I hope you like them. They are growing so fast!" Alice smiles.
"I know she doesn't stop growing." I chuckle, "Thank you, Alice."
"Aw, no problem Rosalie."
"Thanks Alice." Emmett says, "let's watch the game."
Instantly Emmett's eyes are almost glued to the screen. I roll my eyes playfully.
Alice laughs but then her face turns serious. She's having a vision.
"Alice what do you see?" Jasper turns and puts his arms on Alice's shoulders.
Her vision stops and she stares at Jasper.
"The Volturi." Alice warns. She turn to me with a very worried look.
"What is it?" I ask, frantically.
Emmett pauses the TV and also stares at Alice, in shock with me.
"They're coming back. They know about Emmalie. They think she is an immortal child, just like they did with Renesmee."
"But she's just like Renesmee. Half human!" I begin to raise my voice.
Alice then has another vision. I accidentally use my vampire speed and crash into the couch beside Alice.
"What is it now!?" Emmett also starts to worry.
"They want Carlisle, you, Emmett, Bella and Edward." She stares at me.

"Carlisle what are we supposed to do!?" Emmett asks.
"I'm not sure. They won't want to fight, they know that they will die from the circumstances of last time." Carlisle speaks in a calm, yet concerned voice.
"They want to attack you guys, one by one. From a distance, using Jane. They need to not be seen, otherwise Bella can protect you guys." Says Alice.
"Well what about me? How are they going to kill me?" Bella utters.
"That's why they are saving you for last. They're going to behead you. By leaving you for last, they're is less people to fight." Says Alice.
The whole Cullen clan gather around in the living room, except for Renesmee and Emmalie. They are upstairs playing together.
"I don't want them to even look at Emmalie." I state.
"I won't let them." Says Emmett. Then he stand up, off the couch and kisses me on the forehead.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"I love you." He whispers. I give him a look, letting him know that I also love him, too.
He walks towards the entry and Edward steps in front of him.
"Where are you going, Emmett?" Asks Edward. Edward pauses and locks eyes with Emmett. I instantly understand what was going on; Edward reads Emmett's mind and knows what's going through Emmett's head. Then within a flash Emmett was out the door, gone. I stand up, ready to sprint after him. He can't leave me. Then Edward stops me, putting his arm out to block me from escaping.
"He's okay. He will be fine. We'll be fine." Edward looks at Bella and also kisses her on the forehead.
"You're not going with him!" Bella freaks out.
"I love you." Edward murmurs.
With that Edward and Emmett were gone. They left Bella and I in shock and feeling lost, along with the rest of the family.
