double trouble[season 2]

chapter 6

"Were going to be playing pictionary!" Caroline says.

I sat on the couch next to Mason eating some potato salad watching Damon draw.

"Dress!ballerina!" Jenna says

"A puppy with a tutu." Caroline says.

"No" Damon says as he waved the marker around

"Ok, dog hound, hound dog." Jenna calls out.

"Dances with wolves." Me and mason said in sync.

"Ding,ding,ding." We have a winner.

I got up from my seat and started walking to the kitchen with my plate.
"How is that a wolf?" Jenna says

I put my plate in the sink and grabbed the peach cobbler and some more plates.

"Aunt Jenna is getting tispy." Damon says as he tries to help me.

"Then stop giving her alcohol." I slapped his hand away.

"There you are, isn't this fun." Jenna says as she walked in the kitchen.

"Yes, thank you so much for inviting me."Damon tells her.

Jenna puts her drink down "like i had a choice."

"I know what you must think about me." Damon tells her.

"No, you dont." I looked between the both of them. "You've never dated you, I have dated many yous."

"I'm a work in progress."

I grabbed a cake knife and gave it to jenna.

"These are fancy." Damon says

Jenna looks at him. "Thanks, these are my mom's silver set."

I looked at Damon as he grabbed a knife from the set.

"What are you doing?"

"Testing to see if silver bothers him."

"Nothing better happen with Jenna here."

He looks at me then walks out.

"Mason, why don't you start us off." Damon handed Mason a piece of pie on a plate with the knife sticking out.

"Sure." Mason took the pie without touching the sliver. "I apologize, I'm an animal." He says

So it's true he's a wolf and my luck I had to sit next to him.

"So Mason, you and Jenna never dated?" Alaric asked.

"She was always lost in Logan fell land." Mason says joking.

"My first mistake. Mason was a catch, he had all the girls lining up." Jenna says

"All the Lockwoods are a catch, right Amanda." Mason says as he elbows my arm.

"Hmmm I guess." I say.

"When a-" Damon cuts Mason off.

"Really? I always pegged you guys as lone wolves." Damon says

"I'm sure I wasn't half the lady killer you were." Mason tells him. "How about a toast? To new friends."

I see Elena and Caroline walk out the front door "Excuse me real fast." I got up from the table and followed them.

"Would I be the worst friend in the world if I abandoned you and went to Stefan's." Elena says to Caroline.

"No, but you would be a bad sister." I said to Elena
She looks over at me.

"Its just he hasn't answered my calls or texted me back, I have a bad feeling." Elena tells me.

"Then go and make sure he okay." I tell her.

"I dont think it's a good idea." Caroline says.

"How is it not a good idea? It's her boyfriend Caroline."

You don't wanna be clingy." Caroline says.

"I'm not being clingy." Elena says "I'm just concerned, you understand stand right?"

"How about I drive." Caroline says.

"That will be great thanks." Elena and Caroline walk of the porch and towards Carolines car.

"Elena be careful." She smiles and waves.

5 mins after Elena left with Caroline, everyone began to go home.

"No more takers for drinks at the grill." Mason asked as he was by the door. " Its like i am with a bunch of adults here."

Jenna started laughing "I prefer the term role model."

"Okay." Mason said "well, thanks for having me, it wells awesome. Alaric, catch that game next week?"

"Yea, I look forward to it." Alaric says with a smile.

I started grabbing the glasses and placing them on the plates.

"You know, I should probably head out to." Damon said as he grabs his jacket.

"That's a good idea." I said as I picked up the plates and went into the kitchen and put then in the sink.

When I came back from the kitchen I noticed Damon was warming up to jenna.

"Jenna, you are a wonderful hostess." He kissed her hand.

" And your a terrible artist." She says.

"Is that the only thing that makes me terrible?"

"I'm still deciding."

"Good enough for me."He looked over at me and gave me a smile before leaving.

After i was done with my shower I put on my pj's and went into my room and laid down not even 30 seconds of relaxing my phone went off

"What's up?"

"I need you to meet me at the grill now." Damon tells me

"Dam-"

"Now." He hangs up and I hop out of bed slipped my sandles on and ran downstairs out the front door and ran to my car.

I parked outside the grill and got off, Damon was already standing outside waiting for me.

"What happened now? I asked

"First off what are you wearing?" Damon was looking at me up and down. I was in some lil white shorts and a lil white shirt.

"My pj's now answer my question."

"Stefan and Elena broke up."

"Damon I am not in the mood for jokes." I looked at him " What happened?"

"Katherine." He says as he gives me his jacket " She broke them up."

"Wow." Was all I could say.
