New Beginnings

Now.I guess I left out some details,anyway I just graduated Highschool like six months ago,and I'm still staying with ma FAM until I get a call back from "Def Jam"records.Since I was practicaly able to walk I could sing,and so my dream is to get signed to a record label and move to Miami.Anyway back to my story.
"SO WHAT YOUR JUST GONNA LEAVE TI BECOME SOME IRRELEVANT SINGER,THAT IS DISPLEASING TO GOD KAYLA"my dad yelled for the millionth time this week,yes last week I told my family I had auditioned for a record label,and let's just say dad wasn't so happy."hunny,she's a big girl and I think she will do just find and won't stray away from God,and even if she does she knows she always come back home"my mom said to him.This is what I loved and was gonna miss about my mom,she always could see the bright side of every situation and shine light on it so others could see it."dad,I'm always gonna stay with God,I know that its scary thinking about your little girl leaving home,but I know God has great things in store for me papa"I said calming him down, (he gets soft when I call him papa)."well,is this what you really want princess,what about college?"he asked calmly."I'm going to school online dad,so no worries,I really want this more than Anything papa"I said with assuring eyes."Well princess if this is what God has ordained in your heart I guess I should be happy for you Princess and wish you luck"he said,and with that I hugged hike tight.I heard my phone from upstairs and ran to get it it was a number I didn't recognize so,I answered."hello"I said through the phone."hello,is this Shakayla Evans"a female voice said over the phone."yes it is "I responded."well we here at Def Jam records are proudly ready to welcome you to the lable,but you would have to leave in tommorow afternoon everything will be paid for.,your flight,house ,and any other expenses, so what do you say"the voice said.By that time the whole family had been listening,I looked to my dad and he nodded at me assuring me it was okay."yes that is perfect,thank you for everything"I responded.Me and the lady talked about my flight and my y new house that was already designed for me,after we hung up The family helped me finish packing and we all watched a movie together.Times like this is what I would miss most about leaving. ~Morning~ I woke up did my morning routine and got dressed in my white and black croptop that said"failure comes,before success" in big black letters,black high waisted jeans,and white and black Doc martins. I didn't feel like doing anything with my hair so I just left it down wet and curly from me washing it last night,I applies light make up,grabbed NY phone and headed down to see a banner that said:"Congratulations Kayla,we'll miss you"I thanked my family and began eating the special breakfast made for me.Then me,my mom,and Nelly went to the mall and did some last minute shopping, when we got home the whole family sent swimming,by the time we got back it was 4:45 and I had to leave at 5:00.We all said our goodbyes,prayed and then packed the stuff in my car."Kayla,we you get rich and famous bunny,don't forget who you are and where you came from" my mom and dad said to me."I won't ,I love all if y'all sooooo much"I said as I got in my car,everyone waved me off and I was on my way to th airport
