Chapter Four
Beep. Beep. Beep. I woke to the beeping of my alarm.
I only shut it off and turned over and went back to sleep.
-
"Oliver, get up. I'm taking you to the doctor's." mom said, grabbing my blanket and ripping it off my body.
"No..." I mumbled, trying to go back to sleep.
"Oliver! I'm so tired of your behavior! You need to get over that girl, Olli." mom scolded.
I was silent.
"Come on. Now. You're going to the doctor's whether you like it or not. Either that or you can go to school and I'll make sure that you'll stay there." she threatened.
I groaned.
"Why can't you leave me alone?" I snapped. "I mean, I just want to be left alone, but no, you just don't get it, do you?"
Her eyes widened. "Olli - I was only trying to help you..."
"Help me? Well, you're doing a great job at doing that, aren't you." I glared at her.
"Okay, Oliver. Okay. I guess I'll just leave you alone, then." she said, walking out of my room, then she closed the door behind her.
"Dammit." I muttered, sinking back into the pillows.
