A week later I'm released from the hospital. Ashton and I have become friends and he's somewhat like how he was in my dream. We have now plans to get coffee together on Saturday, in 5 days, with the girls and the other guys if we can get them to come.
My dream now seems more like a dream. When I first woke up, it felt real and I could remember all the details but it's become more of just a vague story of the apocalypse with people I didn't know in it.
Jareth is driving me home right now.
"Will you tell me about Calum?" I ask, breaking the silence between us.
"He's a dick," Jare responds.
"Can you please just forget the fact that he put me in the hospital?"
"Not really. I was scared for three months that I had lost you because of him," he mumbles.
"Do you know where he lives?"
He doesn't answer.
"Can-"
"We're not going to his house to see him," Jareth grumbles, turning onto a road that I don't pay attention to.
I stare at him from the side, moving slightly closer.
"Oh, for fucks' sake."
He pulls onto a smaller street and I smile, knowing I got my way.
After about five minutes of Green Day playing in the background, we pull into a driveway. The house is in a modern neighborhood with many larger looking houses.
This one, though, is medium sized. There's a black Mustang parked in the driveway, causing me to wonder what's in the three-car garage so that he can't park in there.
"I'll go alone," I tell Jareth, already unbuckling my seat belt and getting out.
I walk up to the door and stand there without ringing the bell. I haven't taken the time yet to think of what to say.
I ring the doorbell anyway and wait, my mind racing with things to say. Suddenly the door opens in front of me and I freeze.
"Oh... Uh... Hi," he says, forcing a bit of a smile.
"Hi," I lick my lips nervously.
"What are you trying to sell me?"
"Nothing, I'm not-"
"What do you want, then?"
"Umm... Do you remember me?"
"No," His face turns red. "Did we... Ya know..."
"No. I'm that one girl you almost killed. Unless there are more than one," I tell him.
"Oh," he frowns. "Did you come here to cuss me out like your brother did? 'Cos I'm not really in the mood for that right now."
"He did what?! Oh my god, he's such an idiot," I roll my eyes and frown, copying Calum's facial expression. "No, I don't plan on doing that."
"Then... Why are you here?" He asks, looking confused.
"I thought maybe we could be friends," I shrug.
"Friends?" He raises his eyebrows. "I nearly killed you and you wanna be my friend?"
"Oh yeah. Do you not feel any shame about that?"
"Of course I do. It's the worst thing I've done and it wasn't even on purpose. I tried to apologise but your brother wouldn't fucking have it. He would have beaten me up if we had time with no one else around at the hospital. I'm really, really sorry. I don't even know your name, he wouldn't tell me anything," Calum sighs, running his hand through his hair. I could see how he has somewhat of a bad boy look, but right now he looks like he wasn't planning on leaving his house today.
He's wearing a black Santa Cruz tank top and a pair of navy blue basketball shorts. His hair is somewhat messy and the blonde streak in his hair is nearly gone.
"My name's Lijy," I smile at him.
"I'm Calum. But you probably know that," he smiles back and this time I believe it.
"Before I have to go, I need something to tell you. It's really weird and you might think I'm insane but you need to know."
"Okay..."
"When I was in a coma, I had a dream. You were in it," I tell him flat out.
"That's sick. It's like your mind made me up but I already existed," he looks amazed.
"Do you wanna come with me and some friends to get coffee on Saturday?" I ask randomly.
"Sure," he shrugs.
"I'll pick you up at 11," I tell him. He asks for my phone number and I give it to him, then go back to the car.
"How'd it go?" Jare asks as he backs out of the driveway.
"Really well. I told you you should've given him a chance," I raise my eyebrows at him. "Also, I'm not happy that you yelled at him for a mistake."
"Okay, I'm sorry... I'll try to give him a chance," he apologises. "I'm so proud of you for being optimistic about this."
"Thank you," I smile and turn up the Green Day.
We get home and park in front of our house. A moment later, a blue car drives into Maddy's driveway.
"Yo!" Maddy shouts, stepping out of the front passenger's seat. "Lijy, I have someone for you to meet."
A tall blonde boy steps out from the driver's side. I watch as he closes the door and walks around to stand next to Maddy.
"Hi," I call, a smile growing on my face.
Luke smiles back.
"Hey," he shouts. Maddy leads him to our driveway and they stand across from us, his arm around her shoulders. "So you had a dream about me?"
"She already told you?"
"Yup."
"Well, I'm gathering the people in the dream to have coffee on Saturday," I tell him. "Would you like to come?"
"Sure, I'm up for meeting them," he agrees.
They come into our house with us and I make tacos for us all to eat. I get to know the real life Luke and he gets to know me back.

On Wednesday Jareth manages to get all ten of our friends together. We all meet up at the pizza place where we always do.
"Lijy!" Kyra shouts, running up to hug me first.
"Hi," I laugh.
"We all missed you so much," she frowns. "They wouldn't let any of us in to see you. I guess maybe eleven people would be too many at a time, but they could have let more than just Jareth in."
"They're only supposed to let family members in. Which makes me wonder how Maddy got in," I explain, walking over to our table.
"She told them she was your sister," Jare laughs.
Jasmyn stands up and hugs me, then Will and Benji at the same time, then Eliza, and so on. I finally make it back around to the open spot between Kyra and Jareth.
"So, we all heard about your dream," Amanda says from next to Jas. "It sounds pretty badass. Like, you imagined people who already exist and live near us. That's insane."
"Well... So far only three of the guys exist," I shrug. "And I think my unconscious shipping was spot on."
"What do you mean?" She asks.
"You may or may not see. Hey uh, Kyra, Amanda, and Jas, do you three wanna come with me on Saturday to the coffee shop?"
"Sure, what for?" Jas answers.
"To meet the guys. Which I've already done."
"Yeah, we'll come," Kyra nudges my arm.
The pizza that people had ordered before comes and we eat it and talk and I get caught up on what's happened in three months.
