"But I did."

Every time you look at me,
Every time you talk to me,
You remind me to live my life,
And never shed my blood.

But then, I see you with her.
I called out your name and waved.
You saw me and as well as her,
But you just smiled and waved goodbye.

Remember that time I said I'd never cut?
But I did.
The cold metal kissed my skin again,
And let out a crimson blossom.

I thought you'd come around again,
Saying sorry over and over again
But you didn't.
I just sat there crying.

Slowly dying,
Nothing but a knife to keep me company.
I asked myself, "Should I just end this?"
I held the sharp knife with my bloody hands.
As it kissed my skin again,

You come around, panting
A worried expression painted.
You yelled something I didn't understand,
I couldn't see you through my tears.

I heard you footsteps coming
As the tip touched the skin above my heart.
You let out an ear-piercing scream,
As the knife dug through my heart.

---Guy

I held you in my arms
Regretting leaving you alone.
I knew I couldn't do nothing more
But let your body rest.

Remember that time, I said I'd never leave?
But I did.
And now I'm regretting,
Feeling guilty of what I did.

I'm the reason you're gone.
I'm the reason of my misery.
Remember the day I said I wouldn't cry?
I'm sorry, but I did.
