In the world we belong,
Nothing is okay.
Everything has its flaws,
Everything can be fake.

Everywhere you go today,
Your flaws will be exposed.
People judging you everywhere you look,
Criticizing every single thing.

What a world to be in,
People faking everything.
From material things to emotions,
It's inhumanly possible to notice.

Smiles that brighten up the city,
Are never as genuine as before.
After all, what we see
Is never what it seems.

Laughter that can calm a storm,
Is never the laughter you expect.
It could be sour or bittersweet,
but tries its best to be sweet.

But sometimes, it gets too harsh.
That smiles and laughter cannot hide.
The scars we've obtained through our days
Through the journey and different ways.

These scars remind us to be strong,
To be right and never wrong.
But it might never last long,
Before the day ends, like a song.

And these scars can also be,
The reason why we're gone.
Too much scars can make bleed
Your life away and doubt you'll stay.
