CHAPTER 3 : WHAT'S THE POINT OF SCHOOL....
I spent the rest of my day in bed with a pack of ice on my ankle, watching Pretty Little Liars on my Netflix with two tubs of ice cream between my legs, twix and snickers wrappers scattered around the floor....
What? I was hungry and my mom went grocery shopping so I asked for a few things. No crime in that...
The door squeaked open and I sat up when I saw my best friend enter.
"Dude, you know I could have been naked right?" I teased which caused him to cringe.
"Well leave it to Marley to scar my mind for life" he sat down next to me.
"That's what I'm here for" I winked "so...what brings you to my lair"
He scoffed, "Like you could call a room with a pink night light, pink curtains and pink walls a lair" which made me to punch his arm. He didn't even flinch. I swear I'm lie a sack of potatoes compared to my best friend.
"Anyway, I just came to spend some quality time with my dearest BFF" he said in an overly sickly sweet, girly tone.
I rolled my eyes at his statement and placed my head on his chest as we lay on my bed. We always bond like this so it's nothing too strange. He loves Pretty Little Liars but he would never admit that. As we got deeper into the fourth episode, my eyes got heavier and heavier until they finally gave up and I was drawn into a new paradise called dream world.

The blinding rays of light seeped through my curtains
I could've sworn I shut those last night
I lazily get up with a grunt only to see Jake standing at the foot of my bed smiling creepily at me.
I threw my pillow at him, making him stumble back.
"Is that any way to greet your beloved best friend" he pouted which slowly crept into a smirk.
At first I was confused until my bed started rocking dangerously
"Aaahhhh, what are you doing, STOOOOP!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs while my bed was being attacked by Jake's feet.n
"Not until you get out of bed" he yelled back.
"FINE"
I creeped my way off the bed and pounced on him. attacking him with tickles. my legs cradling his torso while he laughs like a maniac.
"Y-You know if anyone barges in on this..." he managed to say but I cut him off
"Yeah... we're weird people" I said and continued my tickle attacks
We stayed like this for about five minutes before my brother decided to join in.
He knelt beside me and joined in the attacking of Jake.
"Guys!!! get down for school now" my mom called out.
" 'Kay" we yelled in unison
"Hi Jake" she greeted/yelled considering she was downstairs.
"Hi Ash"
It amazes me how he calls her that but if I do, I get grounded.

School was such a drag for the following reasons
1. It's Monday
2. It's school... duh
3. I had to see Nathan
I have succeeded in avoiding him for the past three periods and now it's lunch period.
Remember when I said I missed him ? Yeah about that, it's just those moments when he's really sweet and kind and actually seems like he cares.
"What's the point of school "? I exclaimed, slamming my tray on the table.
"Here we go again" Jake rolled his eyes
'I'm not that dramatic", I thumped his head... well I attempted to... I was stopped by his hand on my wrist... which I bit.
"Ow"
All heads turned to our table to see who screamed or why he screamed.
"HEY, GUYS, TURN AROUND, NOTHING TO SEE HERE!!!" yeah... did u think I was that quite cliché girl who doesn't like attention or who isn't loud. Ha! well you guessed wrong. I am quite loud.
Once everyone turned to their tables, my eyes were caught with someone's.
Oh no! I probably shouldn't have yelled.
My eyes widened as he made his way over.
Nathan Davis is walking over to me.

Hey guys. Sorry for not updating in a while. My reasons:
1. The usual, SCHOOL.
2. Just finished exams.
3. No time cause of all the assignments and all.
4. Overall, just pure laziness.
Oops.
I'm done with this term and I hope it means more frequent updates.

Oh and I realized in the chapter one (Yes I read my own books, but just to see if I would like it as much as other books on Wattpad) that I used Jake as her brother and Trent as her best friend. I'll correct it soon.
