One month and several shows later we had finally gotten to Florida. ‘Bout fucking time.

I walked towards the tents with Mum carrying Chris on her hip.

“There’s a new band joining warped today.” She winked at me.

“So?”

“You’ll see.”

“En, there you are.” Andy ran over to us and wrapped his arms around her before kissing her then taking her hand to walk with us.

“What’s up?” she cuddled Christopher.

“I was wondering if I could ask you something?” he sounded nervous beyond believe. This should be entertaining.

“What?”

“I was thinking that maybe after Warped…you could move in…”he glanced around at the tents not meeting her eyes.

“But…”

“Fuck it! Envy I want you to move in with me. And Eppi and Christopher. I NEED you to move in. I need you Envy.” He looked at her with that desperate look in his eyes.

Calmly mum handed Christopher to me. She stopped walking, turning to Andy and then kissed him. It wasn’t a simple kiss either.

I covered Chris’ eyes.

“Andy! No touching! Baby!” I hissed at them.

“No fun Eppi.” Mum pouted at me.

“Shut up Mum.” I glared at her.

She just laughed and hugged Andy.

“Eppi, I think you should go the Zippo stage.” Andy said casually inspecting his nails.

“Why?”

“Someone you might to see.” He sent me a secretive smile.

“I’ve seen Nad play already.”

“Not Nad Eppi. I told you a new band joined.” Mum gave me the same smile.

I thought it over. If not Nad…then…OH MY GOD!

A grin spread across my face. I pushed Chris into Mum’s arms.

“I can’t….I can’t even…” I couldn’t calm down my heart. It was beating too fast.

“Go butterfly.” Mum laughed and gave me a push.

“We love you Eppi.”

“I love you too Dad.” I said back. Wait! I spun around to face Andy and Mum.

“Eppi?” he looked so happy.

“I love you too.” I grinned widely then ran off towards the stage.

I pushed through everyone. I couldn’t get there fast enough.

“Oh My baby! I never want to see you cry like this again!” I could hear his voice above everything.

“DEAN! DEAN!” I screamed at the singer on the stage. “DEAN!”

I began to shove my way towards the front of the stage still screaming his name.

“DEAN!”

“Eppi?”

I looked up to him trying to find me.

“DEAN!”

“EPPI!”

He pulled off his bass and jumped into the crowd.

“DEAN!”

“EPPI!”

The crowd started to break apart making a path for us.

Then I saw him. He was too perfect.

I couldn’t help but cry. I cried and smiled and cried and then I ran to him.

He ran to me and gathered me in his arms spinning me around.

He put me on my feet and pushed my hair away from my face. One whole year. I’ve waited for one whole year for this. To see him again.

“I’ve missed you so much.” He whispered.

“I’ve missed you more.” I sniff not bothering to wipe away my tears.

He pressed his lips to mine and they were just like I remembered. Perfect on every level. He was soft at first but I couldn’t help myself I’ve missed this too much, I’ve missed him. I kissed him back harder.

We pulled away breathing hard. I could feel everyone’s eyes on us.

“That stupid bitch!! She doesn’t deserve him!” someone shouted from the crowd.

I just laughed.

“I love you Eponine.”

I stopped laughing and look up at Dean.

“I love you Eponine.” He said it louder.

“What?”

“I love you Eponine!” He shouted so everyone could hear.

Dean loves me….DEAN LOVES ME!

I told you he would in the end.

Shut up voice.

And it did.
