"Okay... Sets were all over the place and 75% are defiantly not performance ready..." Miss Emily says and all the chatter dies down.
"We all compared comments and this is what we all had. For our Prelim Drunken Gaugers, Alayna, you're probably not going to be dancing this for the performance based off of how you just danced. Ruby, cross over those feet. You have the moves but you're gonna get tanked if you don't start crossing. Mia, in and out on timing today... Feet were better but they get sloppy as you get tired. Rebeca you got to control those arms. It's great you can lift the clicks that high but your arms are wild! Teri, it was good as usual. Just don't look down and terrified. Right now I think only Ruby and Rebeca will dance this unless Mia can fix the timing.
Orange rouge... It was just okay... Rayen you're getting wild again... Miley, loosen up. You're so stiff it's almost uncomfortable to watch. Darden, more confidence and cross trebles over more.
King of the Faires... Isabelle... It was okay but it needs to be more wow. You could be going before or after a world champion and if it's just okay the judges won't remember you, that goes for all of your steps. Arthur... Keep doing what your doing but tone it down on some parts.
Blackbird...."
Comments take literally forever but she finally gets to my set!
"Blackthorn Stick... Clint and Kev... You're falling behind the music in parts but other than that they were both amazing! Ava... Just keep the stamina up towards the end and don't look like a zombie because when you smile it looks more put together, keep it up! We're gonna wrap it up for today and email who needs to be here and when for the rest of the practices tomorrow. Remember to practice!"
Baylee's mom is bringing me, Mia and Sadie home because we were supposed to be here for two more hours... I text Aunt Tina to tell her that and we all get into her moms mini van. We're all listening to Christmas songs and singing/screeching along to jingle bells and deck the halls all the way home!
When we get home mom dad and the babies are home! It looks like a christmas story exploded inside our house! There a tree in the corner of the family room! There's Christmas songs on the radio and it smells like cookies! The tree is all decorated I can't wait for Christmas! 4 more days! Before mom had the babies, she took us to get presents for everyone! I got dad and uncle dave a new tie, aunt Tina and Mom a cute purse and for the babies we didn't know what to get them so I got them two little white shirts from a feis that says "future world champion!" I also made Mia and Sadie a special bracelet with a jewelry kit we got like last Christmas! It's pink and purple with butterfly's and hearts! I'm super excited to see them unwrap their presents!
We wave to mom and head upstairs to shower and change. Sadie goes first then Mia then Me. It's only 5 but I don't think we're doing anything else today so I put on some sweatpants and a t-shirt we got from the all scots last year, put my wet hair into a braid and head downstairs to eat. They ordered pizza so there's 6 slices left for me, Mia, and Sadie.
I go into the family room and everyone's watching Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer! I love that movie! Mom is upstairs putting the babies to bed and then she comes back down. I scooch next to her and lean on her shoulder. Me and Mia can't be the little girls anymore now... Even Sadie isn't the baby of the family anymore! We're gonna have to be more responsible for ourselves and more independent! It's 8:30 when the movie ends and we're all super tired from practice we go upstairs and fall right into bed and asleep.
