It's a 5 hour drive to the airport so me and Mira both sleep on the way there. We get there around 9:30 because there was a bit of traffic.
Our flight is at 1 so by the time we find a parking spot and her mom pays for it its 10. We go over to the baggage check in place and after waiting in an hour long line, we give them our suitcases. Our dresses are being carry ons. We had to get new bags to fit the requirements.
We finally get to security and it's another hour long line. We finally get into our terminal and now we have to find our gate: 27. Of course it's the last one. We check and the flight is delayed 25 minutes. It's 12:34 so we can sit down for a while. Me and Mira take a bunch of goofy selfies and her moms takes a picture of us to send to Miss Sandra for the schools Facebook page. Finally they begin to board the flight! 12:56.
Me and Mira are in Row 24 but her mom is in 17... At least we're together... We take even more selfies! But then we have to turn off our phones so we can take off. I love take off! It's so crazy seeing the big world get itty bitty!
It's a quick flight, only about 2 hours to Orlando. We land and we get our carry ons and get off. Our suitcases are brought to where the next flight is. We have like 45 minutes until that flight boards so me and Mira go buy some snacks. And by snacks I mean candy!
We get back to her mom and then we just go through social media and stuff and then it's time to board! Me and Mira are row 4 this time and her mom is row 11... This time it's a 8 hour flight so obviously I fall dead asleep after take off... Mira has to wake me up once we land!
It's about midnight our time but its around 4 am here! So technically I've been awake for 24 hours! We get off the plane and get our suitcases. Thank god they weren't lost! Mira's mom gets a rental car and then we drive to the hotel which is only like 15 minutes away and super close to the venue. I basically asleep during the drive and check in and changing for bed. I fall straight onto the bed and fall straight asleep.
