I wake up to Mira's alarm at 5:45 and I hear her get up to do her hair and makeup. I roll over and fall back asleep until 7... That's when I set my alarm for. I wake up and they're not here. I guess they went down. I check my phone and I have a text from Mira saying they're in ballroom B and they have food for me and she starts at 7:45. I pull out the clothes I brought for today, a blue shirt, a white skirt with black polka dots and black converse. I grab this black purse for my phone, charger, wallet, inhaler (just in case) and a snack!

I get down just in time for her first round and it's basically flawless! Her other two rounds were amazing too! She's a bit worried about awards but I think she'll win it all! There were a bunch of groups today so once they finally get to the U16s it's been almost an hour of waiting... Her group walks onstage and there's alot of them! She wins both the medal rounds but you can tell she's not sure if she'll win overall... Top 5... still there... Top 3... Top 2...

"In 2nd place, competitor 168, Adria Martins from the Quinn-Drents Academy, Southern Region, England! And our Girls Under 16 Champion is competitor 208, Mira O'Boyle from the O'Hannagan Academy, Southern Region, USA!"

Mira starts crying and gets her sash, medal and cup and climbs up onto the podium! Her mom rushes forward to get a picture. Then they all come off. A lady announces that all marks for yesterday and today will be available after awards. They only have 2 more groups so we watch those then we get our marks.

In typical Mira fashion she was 1st from every judge the entire time... I was actually 3rd going into set then I got all perfect scores in set so I won! King is my lifesaver... We get back to the hotel and change then pack up our stuff because we have to leave at 3 for our flight...

This was such an amazing experience and I can't wait to tell Mia and mom and Sadie about it when I get home! This was such a great Christmas present. I'm never gonna stop thanking mom for this or giving me the gift of dancing.
