The Gift of Dancing (Book 5 of the Ava and Mia Series)

Chapter 1

"...a girl and a boy!" Aunt Tina says excitedly. I was tired a second ago but now I'm ready to get up and do anything!
"When can we go see them!?!" I almost yell!
"Why do you think I got you up?"
I squeal with excitement then start to get dressed as she goes to wake up Mia and Sadie if I already haven't... We finally finished unpacking and everything's neat and orderly.

Even though it's December it's still warm! It's 73 degrees out! I grab out a red dress with some brownish Orange on the bottom, a pair of sperry's and then a tan bag for my phone and charger and a small book I have. Aunt Tina made oatmeal so while Mia and Sadie are still getting ready I have some. 30 minutes later we're all finally ready to go! Aunt Tina lets us get Starbucks too as we leave. We all get Cotton Candy Frappuccios and then we're off. I'm so excited! I get to meet my new brother and sister today!

"Aunt Tina what are their names?" I lean forward and ask her.
"Your dad wouldn't tell me. Something about me not being able to not tell you guys..." I feel like I've done this car ride a dozen time now for my foot. I was cleared out of the boot and able to dance full out 3 days before my birthday. Best present by far! We had a little party with like just our family. We just got little stuff since Christmas is soon. I'm listening to my set when we pull up. I help Sadie out and we head in.

The receptionist recognizes me and gives me a smile as Aunt Tina finds out where they are. We go up to the 4th floor and we have to go to room 432. We walk down a long hallway and go into the last room on the right. Aunt Tina goes in first and we follow. Mom and dad both look exhausted and the babies are sleeping.

"All my babies are here now!" Mom whispers so she doesn't wake them up. But one of them starts squirming and then the other one does too and then they're awake. They don't cry though! That's good!
"What are their names mom." I whisper even though they're awake.
"My little guy is Logan Brendan and this princess is Erin Brooke."
"Hey they have matching middle names like me and Mia!"

My full name is Ava Cathleen Peterson and Mias is Mia Caroline Peterson. Sadie doesn't have a twin so she's alone as Sadie Marie Peterson.

"Do you want to hold them?" Dad asks and we both nods. Mom gives Erin to dad and I sit down into one of the chairs by the window and dad puts her into my arms. "Remember to support her neck." Dad says. Mia sits in the other chair and dad gives her Logan.

"Baby Erin, you're gonna be our new little champion aren't you." I say to her even though she can't understand me but she opens her mouth as to talk and makes a little noise. I push back a bit of the blanket because it's falling over her eyes and she has blonde hair like Sadie! She actually looks a lot like her already! She opens her eyes a bit and I see that she has the clearest blue eyes ever! She's gonna be a heartbreaker I can tell already. She starts to squirm a bit and I look up to dad "she must want to be back with her mommy." He says and he takes her out of my arms and back to mom. Then Logan starts to cry like he knows that his sister is not right next to him so dad takes him.

"They have the twin sense like us!" I say to Mia and we both laugh.

"Girls we're gonna head home now. It's 1:30!" Aunt Tina says. Time flew so fast! We all say bye to mom dad and the twins then we head home. When we get there Uncle David is there waiting for us so we can finish up their rooms.

We put in the sheets in both of their cribs. Brown with blue and green elephants for Logan and white with sheep for Erin. Mom and dad must have already knew the names and genders because (following dads text) they had a bunch of baby stuff in one of their closets. An E B P wall hanging for Erin and a L B P for Logan. A bunch of clothes for each and toys.

After about 3 hours of working, their rooms are ready to go! Aunt Tina orders pizza and we watch a movie, enjoying our last baby free night.
