When They Get Jealous (Not Dating)

Today, you were with a close friend of yours. They had needed your help to babysit their little sibling. However, you had been babysitting them for quite a few days due to your friend trying to find a job, but they were always turned down because of the lack of requirements. Right now, your friend was setting out to seek another job right now. But they were feeling quite stressed.

"I don't know (f/n).. what if I don't get this job?" she said.

"You'll do fine." you reassured. "If anything bad happens, I'll be right here ready to comfort you."

Your friend sighed and sat down. "Alright.. the job interview is in an hour, I'm going to spend my time trying to relax."

"Here, let me help." you said.

You sat behind your best friend and began to give them a neck rub. Their once tensed shoulders were now relaxing into your touch. As you were doing so, you failed to see a certain Uchiha who was watching you nearby. Because of you doing all of this for your friend, you didn't have any time to go into the forest and relax yourself.

Itachi took notice of your lack of presence and wanted to know if you were okay. But seeing you are giving someone a neck rub wasn't what he was expecting. What really broke his heart was when your best friend's sibling came out running towards you two with a drawing. Both you and your friend awed at it, which to Itachi, it was like two young parents awarding their child. Unable to watch anymore, he turns to leave. 

But from the corner of your eye, you saw a familiar black cloak with red clouds. A smile appeared on your face and you told your friend you would be right back. You ran towards the raven haired man and grabbed the back of his cloak making him stop.

"Where are you going?" you asked.

Itachi looked over his shoulder to look at you, but returned his gaze back to the front.

"Back to where I belong.." he answered.

"But don't you want to hang out for a bit? I haven't seen you in a while."

You noticed that his hands were clenched, but his voice was slightly calm as if he was holding something back.

"Why don't you go back to your lover.." he said. "You shouldn't mess with others when in a relationship."

"Huh? Relationship?"

Itachi turned towards you and he looked pretty angry.

"Don't act clueless (f/n)!" he shouted. "You have a family! And you all look so happy! Don't throw that away just to play hooky!"

"Fam...i..ly?" you said confused before laughing.

Itachi looked at you pretty annoyed that you would think this was a laughing matter. When you finally caught your breath, you held Itachi's hands very tenderly.

"Itachi, that isn't my family. That's my best friend and their little sibling, silly!"

Itachi's eyes widened a bit and avoided your gaze. He probably felt embarrassed to make such an accusation without confirmation first.

"I'm... sorry (f/n). I-I didn't know, I thought that-"

"Oh, never mind that, would you like to hang out with me? (Y/f/n) is going to leave for a job interview soon, and we can hang out just the two of us, well, with the exception of the little squirt around us." you said with a slight chuckle.

He smiled. "I'd love that."

<Kisame>

After being away from the sweet, or should I salty, waters. You decided that you would visit the beach, but without your little brother this time so he wouldn't be endangered. You had asked Kisame if he wanted to tag along with you and of course he said yes. So here you two were, playing in the water just having a blast.
