CHAPTER 6

We finally are in Atlanta and it felt so damn good to be home. We left the airport and was on our way to my moms house. It was silent most of the ride there. I felt my eyes getting weak so I just closed my eyes and and enjoyed the ride. Next thing I know I was awakened by Jacob as we pulled in the driveway.

Bre: Wow it still looks the same. (Opening the door and getting out the car)
Jacob: Yea it does...hey get Elle while I get the bags.
Bre: okay

I did as I was told and once I took her out the car seat I carried her as I made my way to the front door. I looked under the carpet for the key I picked it up and unlocked the door. Right as I opened the door the sweet aroma hit my face and I smiled to myself as I walked in.

Bre: No place like home (I mumbled to myself)

I walked over to the couch and laid Elle down and went outside to help prince with the bags.

Jacob: She still sleep?
Bre: Yea she is...just put the bags in the living room I sort the stuff out later.
Jacob: iight (walks in the house)

I started walking to the back of the truck to get the bags. I looked over to Chres old home and I seen his mom fixing her flowers in the yard. She looked up and seen me I looked away fast. But it was too late I heard her making her way over here.

Cindy: Breaunna...is that you?
Bre: Yes ma'am it is...(flashes a smile)
Cindy: Wow you look beautiful (hugs me)
Bre: Thank you (smiles)
Cindy: So you must be visiting ?
Bre: Um, actually we decided to move back.
Cindy: Oh wow that's great!
Bre: Oh really why is that?
Cindy: Well I missed you my baby girl duh silly.
Bre: Aww I missed you too (chuckles)
Cindy: So how is the little one ?
Bre: Oh Brielle is fine she is sleep actually.
Cindy: I know she looks just like you.(smiles)
Bre: (chuckles) yes lord she acts just like me attitude and all.
Cindy: Oh lord (laughs)
Jacob: BRE WHERE YOU AT?! (Yelling from in the house)
Bre: I'M COMING (I yelled back)
Cindy: Well I'm going to let you go since your hands are full.
Bre: Okay it was nice seeing you
Cindy: You too...Oh when you get a chance come by the house.
Bre: Okay...

I grabbed the rest of the bags left and brought them in the house. Jacob was walking from downstairs and sat down in the couch.

Bre: Where is Elle?
Jacob: I put her in your old room. What took you so long?
Bre: Ms.Cindy came over and you know how that goes
Jacob: (laughs) damn she'll still talk yo head off huh ?
Bre: Yea, but she real cool tho. (Sits beside him)
Jacob: So did she say anything about Chres?
Bre: No, she didn't say anything about him at all. Which is weird to me...
Jacob: I know right she would usually say something .
Bre: Well she told me to come over whenever we was settled in. Maybe I can find out some stuff when I go over there.
Jacob: Oh okay ...

Since it was a little late we decided to watch t.v. until we both fell asleep. It felt so good to be home and know that my family was safe. But for how long and where in the hell was Chres at?
