CHAPTER 11

Brielle's Birthday Party...

I have been running around all day looking for last minute stuff for Brielle's party. I haven't spoken to Jacob since our fight. He has been living with his mom from what I was told. I need to call him to see if he is going to help with "OUR" daughter's birthday. So I call him up and put him on speaker since I was driving. After a couple of rings he finally answered the phone.

Jacob: Yea?
Bre: Uh, have you forgotten Brielle's Birthday party today?
Jacob: No, I have her stuff here with me.
Bre: Okay and did you...(gco)
Jacob: Yes Bre I already got the cake...anything else? (Sounding annoyed)
Bre: No, don't worry about it (hangs up)

I just hung up on him because I knew exactly where this was gonna go. I don't have time for the drama. I can't stand that it has gotten to a point where he acts like he hates me. But I'm going to set all that to the side for Brielle. I finally pull up to the house and seen Chris bringing bags from his truck. I pull up beside and turn my car off and get out.

Chris: Finally someone else is here!
Bre: I can say the same thing...
Chris: Where is your mama at? I haven't seen her all day. (Looking at the time on his phone)
Bre: Oh sorry pops.. I kinda told her to take Elle out while we trying to get the rest of her party stuff.
Chris: uggh iight...(grabs the last of the bags in his truck and closes the trunk.)
Bre: Hey, can you help me with mine when your done with yours. (Grabbing bags)
Chris: (takes a deep breath) iight...let me take this in the house first.
Bre: okay...

I started grabbing some of stuff out the truck and started bringing it in the house. Soon as I head back out the door my phone rings and it was Bahja.

Bre: Hello..
Bahja: Hey, I'm like two blocks away. So be ready to decorate baby girl.
Bre: Okay girl just walk straight to the back when you get here.
Bahja: Iight (hangs up)

I head out the door to get the rest of the bags out the truck but I see that Chris has gotten the rest of it out. So, I walk back in the house and head for the kitchen to get some of the food started as Chris headed to the backyard to fire up the grill. Seconds later I hear the scream door open and I look up to Bahja walking in with bags.

Bahja: I'm getting dressed here if that's okay with you?
Bre: I don't mind at all...so where are we gonna start?
Bahja: Well I'll start doing the decorations since you getting the food ready.
Chris: You got the ribs and stuff ready so I can go ahead and put it on the grill? (Walks in the kitchen)
Bre: Um, yeah I out all the stuff that needs to grilled over there. (pointing in the direction)
Chris: Okay, Oh hey Bahja (gives her a hug) iight I'm outside holla for me if you need me. (Trailing off)
Bahja&Bre: Okay!
Bre: Well let me go ahead and help you with these decorations.

Time began to fly by and It was time for Brielle's Party...
So me and Bahja was getting ready while the people have already started arriving.
I was on my doing my hair until my mom was calling me.

Bre: Hello...
Mom: Hey baby we are almost there. So tell everyone to get ready for the birthday girl.
Bre: Okay, I will do that... (Finishing up my hair)
Mom: Okay (hangs up)

As she hung up I was heading out the room. But I took a glance in the mirror checking myself out. I finally head downstairs where everyone was. I was looking around for pops but someone had walked slam into me causing me to drop my phone.

Bre: Uggh (picks up my phone) can you please watch where you going (looks up) Jacob?
Jacob: Yeah, my bad I was looking for you.
Bre: Jacob I don't have time for this right now. (Walks away)
Jacob: Wait (gently grabs my arm)
Bre: What (shifting all my weight on one side)
Jacob: I know we haven't spoken in a while. But I was wrong for lashing out on you. I was just mad because you wouldn't let me help.
Bre: Okay...but right now isn't the time for this. We can talk about this later tonight. (Walks away)

I walked to the backyard and seen pops at the grill. I finally made my way to him and told him what mom said. So we gathered everyone in the house to wait for mom and Elle to arrive.
Minutes went by as we were patiently waiting . I was getting kind of anxious to be completely honest. All of a sudden we heard doors slam  and a horn blow. We told everyone to be quiet as we waited for them to walk in. We heard the door open and they both walked in and we all yelled surprise. She jumped on my mom and was scared at first until she realized that it was her birthday. She jumped down from my moms arms and ran over to me hugging my leg.

Elle: Oh mommy I love it (holding onto my leg) now let's party!

We all just laughed at her and we started making our way to the back yard. Everyone was having a good time. Then finally I seen my mom walking towards Jacob. I already knew where this was gonna go. So I made my way over to them until I seen Mama Cindy.

Bre: Mama Cindy? Hey how are you? (Gives her a hug)
Mama Cindy: Hey baby...um, we need to talk.
Bre: Sure...let's go in the kitchen.

We walk inside and head to the kitchen and sit down at the table. She looked kind of nervous and anxious.

Bre: Are you okay Mama Cindy? You don't look so great.
Mama Cindy:I'm going to be honest with you.
Bre: (frowns) Um, okay.... what is it?
Mama Cindy: Baby it's Chresanto
Bre: Oh my God... He came back home? Thank God (gets up) where is he? (Smiles)
Mama Cindy: He never left...he was in a accident.
Bre: W-w-wait what...what accident? (Gets teary eyed) when was this?
Mama Cindy: Its been 5 months now. He is in a coma Breaunna.
Bre: Oh my God...(takes a deep breath) I have to go see him (breaks down crying)
Mama Cindy: (teary eyed) I'll take you...but you have to be strong baby...(grabs me into a hug)
Bre: I'll... I'll try...(sniffs) let's go see him.
Mama Cindy: Okay...
Bahja: Hey y'all... (Walks in slowly) oh no...what's wrong?
Mama Cindy: She knows
Bre: You knew all this time and didn't tell me! (Raising my voice a little)
Bahja: Bre I didn't know until last month I swear!
Bre: Whatever...Mama Cindy I'm ready...Tell mama and pops I'll be back...

We walked out the house and got in mama Cindy's car and made our way to the hospital.
I can't believe that he has been in the hospital for 5 months and in a coma with that. My heart is shattered now knowing what I know now. This is just too much for me to handle right now.

I have been so busy with life and I know y'all thought I was gone but I'm back... Sorry it took so long though. I will try to update whenever I get the chance. Love y'all
