you and ethan were planning out thoughts for a music playlist for your guys' wedding.

you were sitting on the couch going through a rough draft-type playlist for the wedding. you played multiple songs and ethan would yell from the kitchen counter weather he liked them or not.

he finished up whatever he was doing and belly-flopped onto the ottoman. dumb idea.

he winced in small pain but adjusts himself into a comfortable position. "pass over your laptop, babe." you passed it to him. he stood up and sat beside you on the couch. you snuggled up beside him and leaned your head gently on his shoulder.

"show... off... SoMo." he said typing it up in the search column.

you listened closely to the lyrics,

You pressed the space bar, making it pause.

"how about no, ethan?" you took the laptop off of his lap and sat it on yours.

"babe..." he grinned,

"ethan, your parents are going to be there. and your little cousins. and mine, and my little brother and sister. ethan, you can't take this as a joke." you argued.

"y/n, i'm not joking. i'm trying to lighten up this whole planning thing for you. you've been so stressed about this whole wedding and worried about what i want. y/n, i couldn't care less if we just say our vowels right now and have a private wedding. i wouldn't care if we just drove to where you sign the papers for this whole marriage thing. i don't care if no one comes because a song is inappropriate. i don't care what the hell we do because at the end of the day i'm marrying you. no one else, just you." he looked you in the eyes while he said every word.

"i love you so much y/full/n." he leaned in so slowly and kissed you with such passion.

you pulled off, softly biting his lip. you took a small breath, "i love you too, ethan."
