Aubrey POV:

I woke up to a beautiful morning. The sun was just rising. The Sun's colors danced around the sky finding a place to go for the day. I looked at the leaf bed and found little Ari still fast asleep. I wondered what I would do in this world. Why was I sent here? Maybe it was just another dream. I jumped into the pool of water next to a nice shady tree. I always woke up with water. It felt like slow motions diving and smashing into the water touching the bottom with my feet. Definitely not a dream. What a waste of clothes! I sprung out of the water and grasped a nearby twig pulling myself out.

Ari was awake by now and she looked at me with her question," Can I have a bath too?"

"Ok." I was so glad a two year old agreed into a bath for the first time. I grabbed her, and gently put her into the water. I then left her there(don't worry she knows how to swim) and washed her and my clothes. Then, I dried them. She finished her bath but I wasn't dressed. Aw man! I quickly went behind a bush.

"Done!" She looked satisfied that she could give herself a bath.

"Ok, go dry off." I scavenged quickly for my clothes, seeing they were a little wet, but I quickly put them on. Then, I put Ari's clothes on too as she was trying to catch a butterfly. I was glad she died with me. Well, not that she died, but that I had company. I then looked for supplies. If we were going to be alone, we would need something to live off of. I grabbed all I could carry. I stored water in the water bottle in my pocket I found. Talk about convenience.Sometimes I wish Jasmine were here. She would be so prepared and she would cheer me up especially because she knew how to survive with her Girl Scouts. Well, I had to move on. I grabbed some leaves and stuffed them into my sweater. Then I grabbed more supplies like twigs, some fresh mushrooms( I checked if they were poisonous or not don't worry) and made my sweater like a little backpack and got ready to leave. I looked for Ari. She was busily playing with a nearby grasshopper.

"Come on Ari, we have to go."

"Why?"

"Um, we are going to have an adventure!" She had no idea what was going on. It made things a little better knowing she wouldn't have to worry as much as me, keeping us alive. I grasped her little hand and held it gently. She followed me humming a little tune of her own, in her own little land of hers. I wondered if there was life. Everything seemed so uninterrupted. I was fearing I would never find anyone. Keeping my hopes up, I tried to look happy for Ari. If it weren't for her, I would be crying right now, but I had to make everything seem like a game so she wouldn't get scared. I wondered if she would ever miss her mother, her family. We skipped along going nowhere until I heard a noise. The Bushes rattled. Probably a rabbit. But no, it wasn't. An teen boy jumped out of the bushes. He looked like an elf because he had pointy ears.

"FREEZE!" He shouted. He had a bow an arrow pointed a me with a serious expression on his face. I stepped back, alarmed. Would I die again?! I looked at little Ari and she gave me a look like(this boy interrupted our adventure come on let's go!) but I stood still and closed my eyes, ready for the shot.
