Curious
She couldn't believe he'd actually done it. He'd found her.
She didn't know whether he'd gone to the FBI and asked them to track her down or whether he'd simply followed her out of class but there he was standing in front of her.
"So, this is where you come at lunch."
Silence.
"Um, you're Hunter, right?"
Silence.
"I, um, I'm - wait no!"
She got up to leave. He stepped in front of her.
"Please. Please." He pleeded, "You...you look like you need a friend."
She didn't say anything and just stared and he sighed letting go of her arm and stepping back an inch. Enough to give her space but not enough to let her leave.
"Look, I know I seem like a stalker but I'm really just curious. You seem...different, interesting, and I'd really, really like to get to know you."
And then she said the first thing she'd every said to him, "Leave me alone."
