Cared

Her body shoke as she shobbed next to the bed in her room.

What was she thinking?

What had she done?

She hadn't gone to school that morning. The minute she'd woken up she'd gone straight home.

She didn't wake up the boy sleeping soundly next to her.

She didn't even make it to her bed before she collapsed into tears.

She was hungry and tired and felt so stupid.

Why had she gone to him? She should have just gone home?

God knows what he was thinking. He was probably laughing to his friends about how she was a slut and a whore.

His friends would believe him, she knew that.

Nobody ever had anything against believing anything bad about her.

And the worst part was, she liked that he cared.

No.

The worst part was he'd made her laugh. Which meant she cared.
