Director Fury's P.O.V:

"The council believes that it would be in the best interest of the human race if S.H.I.E.L.D turns in the alien it has in its possession to the proper authorities." I hear Dr. Sombre's french accent say. These idiots. How the fuck did they even get elected to be on the council. I swear half of the people here are idiots.

"Council, you should know by now that S.H.I.E.L.D, meaning myself, doesn't listen to half of the shit you say. This is my operation, Andromeda is under my protection and that is where she is going to stay. If you think I'm going to have her shipped off to some unknown military base where she is going to be experimented on, Dr. Sombre, then you've got another thing coming."

"But Director! If you continue to go against the council-"

"If you will excuse me, I have a prior engagement with one of my newest agents... Andromeda." I say as I swipe my hands along the screen ending the call.

I sigh and walk to my desk and pullout the file that contains the information about her new mission. With all of the data we have gathered on Andromeda this week I've learned a few things about her character. One of them being she has a possible IQ of 325. I say possible as in if she learned everything she could her brain has the potential to retain it all and more. Which is why I thought she was the perfect candidate for this mission. Astrophysics is a very hard and rigorous course for her to learn, really for anyone to learn for that matter, which is why I am going to have her read up on it now.

As S.H.I.E.L.D. progresses in science and discovery we are constantly looking for new brilliant minds. I've been doing some reasearch and a new scientist named Dr. Selvig has been doing some extraordinary work. I'm sending Andromeda to New Mexico to train under him as an unpaid intern. She'll be living in a small town called Puente Antiguo. I've never heard of it but maybe it's good for whatever Astrophyisic shit they like to work on.

Looking at the folder on my desk I start to hear Coulson's voice, he sure does like to talk, but he is my most valuable agent that I have. I hope he's not talking about Captain America again...

*Andromeda's P.O.V*

"I swear I have never seen a man who looks so-oh how do I say it...Full?" Coulson says from beside me. He hasn't stopped talking about Captain America since we got out of the elevator. Goodness does he have a lot to say.

"Well whatever. It'll come to me later, I still think that he looks like a dorito." He continues on using his hands to make a triangleish shape. What the heck is a 'dorito'????? Shaking my head I let out a small laugh. Coulson is so strange sometimes I wonder why I even try to understand what he is saying.

I feel a certain familiarity when I walk by him, I would like to say that I see him as a father. Though some attributes are different, my father reminds me more of a, what do these people say? A 'partier'? He enjoyed a good ale but no woman was good enough for him, other than my mother of course. Actually I'm surprised that I don't have any brothers or sisters, my parents enjoyed each others company a little too much for my liking.

I tune back into what Coulson is saying but I hear the words 'his ass is so tight' that I immediately tune back out, this is borderline obsession. Kinda like Clint and bananas, or Nat and cocktails.

I wonder what Director Fury's new mission for me is... Coulson said New Mexico which actually surprised me a little bit. Astraeus said that I needed to go to New Mexico, wherever that was. I guess I'm already on the right track for correcting my fate. I'm left to wonder what I did that affected my fate so much, better yet, what even was the fate that I affected so much? Normally it has to do with who your lover is or some other bullshit like that. I don't need a lover, I know what happens when you get your hopes up too high. Its better for me to just remain alone anyway...
