Hey Guys! Proud Scribbler here! I just wanted to say that this is my first story and I appreciate those who are taking the time to read this. I'm as anxious as you are to see where this story goes...Happy Reading!!!

North's P.O.V
"I tell you, Pitch is back!" I exclaimed. I looked around at all the other guardians in front of me. Tooth, the guardian of Memories, fluttered about, talking with her little helpers. Bunny, the guardian of Hope, stood painting an Easter egg he brought with him. Sandman, the guardian of Dreams, played around with some sand, making them shift from one shape to another. I had my back to them, both my hands resting on the console in front of a humongous globe. I looked up at the globe sadly. The little dots of light scattered on it twinkled, but were very few. The lights on the globe represented the children that still believed in us guardians. We protected each and every single one, naughty or nice.  I, North, guardian of Wonder, saw our worst enemy this morning. Pitch Black, the Boogeyman. A strong wind had blown through the room and his evil laughter rang out. Black sand swirled around the globe and when it left, most of the lights on the globe went out and Pitch's shadow stayed for a few seconds, then vanished.

"You all really don't believe me? I saw him!"

" Wait, you actually saw Pitch?" Bunny asked, lowering his egg and paintbrush. The other guardians stopped what they were doing and looked at me.

"Well...I didn't see him in...person...but I heard his laugh! And saw his shadow!" I stuttered.

"Really? You saw his shadow?" Bunny scoffed. I sighed.

"I know it was him! I feel it!" I clutched my stomach. "In my belly!" Bunny scoffed again. He resumed his painting, then froze.

"Are you getting a weird sense of dejia vu?" He asked me curiously, vaguely pointing his paintbrush at me. I stood up strait and thought a moment, then it suddenly clicked. I chuckled a bit.

"Yes, this moment is very familiar...but we are missing something." I looked over at Tooth and Sandy.
Sandy looked confused, but then a smile went over his face and a shape of a tall, skinny boy holding a staff formed over his head, followed by a question mark, all in golden sand.

Tooth, after seeing Sandy's thoughts, had a dreamy look on her face. She suddenly snapped out of it and focused on all of us.

"Where's Jack?" She asked.

Jack's P.O.V
A little while before...
"Jamie!" I yelled after the little brown haired boy. He was running around his backyard with his friends, trying to -unsuccessfully- avoid snowballs. He looked up (cause' I was in the air) when I called his name.

"Jack!" He happily yelled up at me. I swooped down to him and his friends. Jamie, Pippa, Monty, Caleb, Claude, Cupcake, and his little sister, Sophie, ran toward me, laughing. They all gave me a group hug, but one of the kids slipped on the ice and we all fell.

"Where ya been? It's been forever!" Jamie asked while playfully punching my arm. Everybody started to get up unsteadily, still laughing.

"Hey, you know this town isn't the only place that's gets to have all the fun snow days. Other towns need them too!" I laughed. "And by the way, happy birthday! How old are ya? 11?"

Jamie beamed at me and nodded.

"Wow, your getting old! Soon your gonna be a wrinkly old man!" I stood up, arched my back, leaned heavily on my staff, and said in a shaky, old man's voice, "Ya don't want to be like old man Jenkins here do ya? Back in my day, blah blab blah blab bleh!" Everyone laughed. I put on a sudden fearful face and pointed behind the kids.
