No P.O.V
As the guardians-to-be slept, North made sure that the volume outside their doors was lowered respectively, in case they were actually able to sleep.
The yetis either moved to the other side of the workshop or ceased their chatter and noisy tools.
Surprisingly, all the guardians were able to sleep, despite all that they have encountered throughout the day. They were just too tired.
Sandy made sure his sand floated throughout the workshop to give them wonderful dreams. He hoped they would be okay.
He also noticed that some elves were happily dreaming of cookies. It was rather cute.
Tooth went to help collect the children's teeth, as she did every spare moment she had now and Bunny, having nothing better to do, rearranged the weapons in the spare room next to the globe room.
Toothless was a bit feisty at first when he arrived, injuring several yetis and slapping a few elves with his wings, but when he heard the name Hiccup, his ears perked up. They(the yetis who have not been taken to the medical wing, which is just another fancy word for "room with a first aid kit and couch") continued to calm the dragon, reassuring him that Hiccup was in his room and that he was okay. The dragon calmed down, but was still uneasy and tense.
As for North, he poured over every book in his library, munched automatically on any cookie available within arms reach, and tinkered distractedly with screws and bolts and other tools in his hands. He was trying to find as much information about these new kids from books written from their eras. Although many books were written in those times in many different languages.
And on the recruits dreamed...

In the morning, North was standing right at the top of the stairs, facing six doors. In his hand, a trumpet. On his face, a smile that spelled mischief. In his mind, an amusing plan as a wake up call.
He rolled back his shoulders in preparation and checked his stance, raising the instrument to his lips.
If you don't know what a wake up call sounds like, you are very lucky. It is the loudest sound in the quiet morning and will jolt you awake with the nerves spiked enough to murder for interrupting hard earned sleep.
Almost in unison, the inhabitants of the rooms before North jumped up in confusion, rolling off their beds tangled in sheets. Jack flew around, panicked, never before having been aroused in such a way. Elsa rolled off with bursts of ice shooting from hands and feet, freezing parts of her blanket and frosting random parts of the walls. Merida scrambled up into a crouch, arrow raised like a knife, looking around wildly. Hiccup, having no leg, was scrambling around on one foot, hopping and tripping and falling and getting back up again. Rapunzel was widely swinging her frying pan before she was even conscious of it and Anna scrambled around, crashing into the door before rushing out like the others.
"Good morning, little ones!" North greeted, looking victorious as all "little ones" burst through their doors and stood there looking dumbfounded.
"Big day today!" He said, fists upon hips, grinning.
"North?! What the-just-why?" Jack groaned, face palming.
"It is time for the guardians-to-be to become guardians!"
Jack froze. He stared at North, his expression clearly reading disbelief and exasperation.
