My eyes widened. I had so response to this. I didn't even know what happened. I just walked in the room. I stayed close to Jaylin for the rest of the day. Even though we don't have the next three periods together.
(Lunch Period)
Kylee: Uh, Jaylin?
Jaylin: Yeah?
Kylee: You know how you said Blair was obsessed with you?
Jaylin: Yes...
Kylee: I'm getting really worried. She's really scary.
Jaylin: Why do you think that.
Kylee: Umm... (Looks around) Well. I don't know if she meant it or not, but she whispered something in my ear...
Jaylin: What did she say?
Kylee: (Looks around again) She said she was gonna kill me...
Jaylin: It was probably just a threat. I promise nothing will happen to you. If she did mean it, though, then I'll protect you.
Kylee: (Smiles) Ok...
For the rest of the day, I stayed clear of Blair. It was pretty easy, though. I barely even see her in school.
(7th Bell Rings)
As I'm walking out the classroom getting ready to meet Jaylin outside, I realized something... She knows where I live!
Kylee: JAYLIN! JAYLIN! JAYLIN! JAYLIN! JAYLIN!
Jaylin: Kylee! What got you so worked up?
Kylee: She knows where I live!
Jaylin: Who?
Kylee: Blair, Jaylin! Can I please stay with you?!?!
Jaylin: Are you really scared?
Kylee: Yes! Yes I am! Please!
Jaylin: Sure! I did say I was gonna protect you!
I'm safe!! Jaylin is a life saver! Literally!
When we got to Jaylin's house, I was amazed! His house was beautiful! A big, two story house! Not as big as a mansion, but not as small as a cabin. Just the right size!
Jaylin: Ok. So, I have a guest bedroom upstairs that you can stay in.
Kylee: Ok. Don't worry! I'm not going to be much to deal with. I'll stay out of your way! It's almost gonna feel like I'm not there.
Jaylin: Kylee. You're my guest now. You don't need to be invisible.
Kylee: Sorry. I guess I was being alittle extra. (Soft laughter)
He shows me to my room for the night.
Kylee: Oh, wow. This room in very nice for a guest bedroom.
Jaylin: Yeah. I guess so!
Kylee: So, what do you usually do when you get home?
Jaylin: Well, I do homework, then watch TV.
Kylee: (Pause) TV?
Jaylin: (Looks at Kylee Surprised)
Kylee: What?
Jaylin: Nothing! Come with me!
Kylee: Ok...
He took me downstairs to this room. It had a couch with a little rug under a coffee table.
Jaylin: This is my living room.
Kylee: Oh!
Jaylin: Come sit. This is where I watch TV, but sometimes I watch it in my room, though.
We sit down and he turned in the TV. When he turned in the TV, a bright light came on it. There where people in it, too.
Jaylin: Let's put on a movie.
Kylee: Ok... But what's a movie?
Jaylin: (Holding back laughter) It's pretty much an hour long series. Well I mean, a lot of movies are an hour long but some are longer.
Kylee: Got it!
Jaylin: (Searching through movies) Ha! Here's a good movie, The Lion King!
Kylee: Sure! Whatever you think is good!
Jaylin: (Turns on movie)
(Half-Hour Later)
Jaylin and I are sitting on a couch watching this movie. His arm is wrapped around me and I'm laying my head on his shoulder. I look at Jaylin for a second for no exact reason. When I looked at his face, I guess he knew so he looked back down at me. I blushed and rapidly pointed my head back to the TV. I heard Jaylin do a slight chuckle. About 2 minutes later, I looked at him again and he instantly looked at me. I didn't look down this time. My body wouldn't let me. Soon enough, we leaned closer. Just like that time at the waterfall. We did it again. Our lips were touching. I still don't understand, by the way. We found ourselves staying like that for a longer this time. While we were kissing, I heard a sound near the front of the door. Jaylin heard it, too. After we heard it, we stopped and saw a women walking towards us.
Jaylin: Hi, mom.
Hellen: Hi. Who-
Jaylin: This is Kylee.
Hellen: Oh! It's so nice to meet you! Jaylin talks about you all the time!
Jaylin: Mom!
Kylee: (Laugh) Hello!
Hellen: Ok, carry on. Don't mind me. I'm going to bed.
Jaylin: Ok. Night.
After the movie was done, Jaylin and I headed to the rooms to sleep.
Jaylin: Good night, Kylee. (Kisses forehead)
Kylee: (Blushes) Night! (Closes eyes)
