(Next Day, Wednesday)
Today is a new day. As they say, "The past is past. Forgive, forget!" Well I don't want to. Yesterday was one of the most magical days in my entire, miserable life.
This time, I left at normal time and I ended up walking with Jaylin as usual. I thought that it would awkward, but the feeling was mutual. He was acting all cool about it, but I'm not complaining! He did say I didn't mess anything up, though. I'm just so relieved!
Kylee: Umm.. How are you?
Jaylin: Kylee. You don't have to be all awkward about all this.
Kylee: You really don't feel awkward?
Jaylin: Not at all.
Kylee: What? Your used to it or something?
Jaylin: (Laugh) No. I just feel like... We have a connection so strong that no matter what happens, we will still be best friends like normal. :)
Kylee: (Blushes) Right! Exactly right!
Jaylin: Why would you think I would be used to it?
Kylee: Because.... Y-your just so.... (Sigh)
Jaylin: It's fine.
Kylee: You know? You made me the luckiest girl in the world about a month ago!
Jaylin: Why is that?
Kylee: You became friends with me, J! Without you, I would a lost puppy! I only ever thought about it my mind. Those very words I just said to you, but I meant every single one of them.
Jaylin: (Blushes)
Kylee: What!?!? Is that Jaylin blushing over there? (Laugh)
Jaylin: Shut up!
Kylee: (Giggle)We finally arrived at school. We split up for 1st-4th period then meet again at period 5, lunch period. Like I said before, we always meet at this bench and of course, when I was arriving to the bench, he was waiting for me.
Kylee: Hey, J!
Jaylin: Haii!
Kylee: (Starts drinking juice then spills some on skirt) Oh no!
Jaylin: (Chuckles) You are so cute! I'll go get napkins.
Kylee: (Thoughts) Huh? What is that supposed to mean? "Cute"
Jaylin: Here you go.
Kylee: Thanks...
Jaylin: .......
Kylee: (Dabbing skirt with napkin)
Jaylin: Uhh, Kylee?
Kylee: Yup?
Jaylin: (Leans over and kisses cheek)
Kylee: (Freezes) W-what was that?
Jaylin: A kiss...
Kylee: Umm... Well....I had nothing to say. I was just so surprised. Just out of no where! I feel like I was put into a daze. That was my first experience with something like that. I wonder if people who have family and friends make such a big deal of it. Do I make a big deal of it? I don't understand the purpose of a "kiss." All I know is that it was MAGICAL!
Once again, the next day is like... so mutual. Am I really the only one who is taking these previous events into consideration?
