Jaime's POV

It was Friday morning now. Throughout the week I had tried to talk to Vic as much as I could. I would catch him in the hallways or when we had free time in the two classes we were in together. Thankfully, it didn't seem like he thought I was annoying yet. He also didn't seem too weirded out by the flowers I gave him on Monday. I know that was a pretty bold move but I thought it was worth a shot. Tony has been telling me "he told me so" all week long. I do agree that I should have talked to him earlier but what can I say, I was extremely nervous.

Vic seemed kind of down I guess on Tuesday. He had his head down most of the day, slouched shoulders, and I also didn't see him eat anything at lunch. I wanted to ask him if he was okay, but we still barely know each other and I didn't want to seem nosey or pushy. On Wednesday he was perfectly fine though, his bad boy persona on full blast.

I was waiting outside the front entrance right now, sitting under one of the trees with Tony.

"So how's you and Viccy?" Tony nudged me.

"Uh I don't know normal I guess? I still barely talk to him but thankfully it doesn't seem like he hates me or anything," I explained nonchalantly.

"How are those guys that are always with him? Isn't one of them his younger brother?" The black haired boy asked me.

"Yeah. His best friend is Alex and his little brother is Mike. I haven't really heard them talk much but they seem cool I guess. You can tell the three of them are really close," I answered him, not knowing them well enough to give a full description.

"Oh okay. His brother's a freshman right?" My best friend asked curiously.

"Uh yeah I'm pretty sure. Why are you asking?" I turned to him.

"Just uh, just wondering," Tony said, stumbling with his words a little. But I knew better than that.

"Are you... are you into Vic's brother?!" I said perhaps a little too loudly.

"Jaime shush!" Tony exclaimed, covering my mouth with his hand. "I don't know okay. He's super cute though. I really wouldn't mind getting to know him honestly."

"Okay well uh I was planning on maybe sitting with Vic at lunch today so maybe you could sit with us?" I told him with a small smile. My little Tone-bone has a crush!

"Yeah I guess I could do that," the turtle-loving boy said to me.

"Great! Oh gosh speak of the devils," I said as the 3 boys rode in on their motorcycles and parked the bikes.

Vic gave me a small smile to which I returned. I looked to my left at Tony who had looked over at Mike. To my surprise, Mike looked back at him and when their eyes met they both looked down with a blush on each of their faces. I chuckled under my breath and shook my head slightly.

"I'm gonna go ask Vic about lunch, be right back," I told Tony before jumping up from my spot on the short grass under the shade of the tree. The three had just put away their helmets and started to walk towards the double doors that led into the school lobby. I caught up to Vic and lightly tapped him on the shoulder. The brunette turned around to face me and Alex and Mike stopped by his side.

"Hey Vic what's up," I asked him happily.

"Uh well I just got to school obviously haha. But I'm super pumped because it's Friday, which means no school for 2 days," he said with a small smile.

"Ah I feel that. By the way, I was wondering if maybe I could sit with you guys at lunch today if that's okay?" I asked him, nervously adjusting my white and black flower crown that matched my outfit.
