Vic's POV
I sighed and smirked slightly as I walked away from the bubbly guy that had just crashed into me, literally. Jaime Preciado was his name. I may have seemed liked I was unsure of what his name was during our conversation, but trust me, that name was very well familiar to me. He was the first person I really saw when I arrived at this school. By saw, I mean truly looked at and took in his appearance. It was in the cafateria and I heard the most beautiful laugh I could ever hear. Looking around as an attempt to find the person that made the wonderful sound, my eyes landed on him. His appearance was interesting and quite unique; a white baseball tee with light blue sleeves, black jeans, along with classic red Vans. His shirt made his natural tan show perfectly, and his ebony hair was spiked up with a blonde streak in the front. The part of his outfit that really sparked my interest was the light blue and white flower crown that was rested atop his head. Honestly, it looked similar to a halo; fit for the angel he appeared as. Yes, it was slightly odd for a guy to be wearing a flower crown but it really suited him and his bright personality.I remember seeing his face, admiring what looked like a piece of art. He had a smile on his face, the aftermath of the majestic laugh I first heard. The smile automatically made these adorable dimples pop on his cheeks. His smile was a true smile, causing crinkles by his dark brown eyes. I longed for that, showing a true and genuine smile. But any chance of that happening dissapeared a long time ago.
"Vic, what the hell are you smiling at?" my nosey younger brother Mike snapped me out of my little flashback. He asked what I was smiling at. I wasn't aware of me smiling, but I guess the blissful memory of my first sight of the flower boy caused me to. However, like I said before, I knew it wasn't a real smile because I haven't shown a real smile in a long time. Mike most likely knew that it wasn't a real smile either, as well as Alex if he was paying attention, but it wasn't like they would bring it up.
Seeing as though I hadn't answered yet, Alex decided to answer for me, "He's thinking about that Jaime guy obviously."
I snapped my head to my side and looked up at my best friends face with a slight glare. Alex and I had known each other since 2nd grade. He was my first real friend and we had been practically inseperable since then. Cliche enough, he had moved into the house right across from mine. Our parents became really good friends and when our family moved Mike and me to a closer high school durng Christmas break, Alex's parents decided that it would be best to move Alex to the same school as us. This made it easier on me and Alex (and my brother since he was with us quite a bit too) since we had been in the same school for most of our lives and it would suck to be seperated from my closest friend. Plus, the school was obviously closer to them too so it would benefit them as well.
"Wait what? I-Alex hold on, Jaime? What why, I okay uh," I stuttered miserably. How would he know about my crush, or whatever the hell it was, on Jaime? Alex is my best friend and all but I didn't think I had shown any type of indication that I liked him or anything.
"Yes uh-you uh Vic and uh okay Jaime," Alex taunted me and smirked, fake stuttering.
"Ai shut up tu pendejo," I cursed at him. Except it was no use using Spanish to 'cover' my words because throughout my years with Alex I had taught him a good amount of the now familiar language.
"Yeah, yeah. Call me names all you want Victor; I know you have a little interest in Mr. "Hime-time". It's totally obvious really," the taller boy pointed out matter-of-factly, a smirk still lingering on his lips and he had a slight glint in his light blue eyes.
"Oh yeah? How is this little "crush" I apparently have on Jaime so obvious to you Mr. Babinski?" I asked, using my hands to make air quotes around the word crush and copying his name title he used a second ago.
"Are you kidding? You've been practically drooling over him since the first minute you saw him! Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about because I remember and I know you do too. It was our first day here and we were at lunch and you stared at him the whole 45 minutes. Mike and I noticed completely but we didn't want to ruin your moment or whatever you want to call it. Since then you always glance over at him whenever you have a chance to during the day. Then during the little collision that accured during the painfully awkward conversation you guys had like 5 minutes ago, I could see you were trying not to freak out. Now don't worry, pretty much nobody else can notice, but I'm your best friend. I know everything obviously," Alex explained to me, knowing he was right. The only thing that was wrong was his very last sentence. However, that was something unimportant right now so nevermind that.
"Okay Alex whatever," I sighed, slightly rolling my eyes and I saw him smirk even more. He knew I practically just agreed with him. "It's time for class anyway so let's just get going."
We parted ways with my brother since we didn't have a class with him until 4th period but Alex and I had 1st period together. After 4th period, the next time all three of us saw each other was at lunch which was 6th period. Alex and I walked into our first class a minute before the late bell rang. I sat in my seat and groaned, mentally preparing myself for yet another day of the ever so wonderful school.

*END OF SCHOOL DAY*
---Finally, school was over and I could go home to relax. Stepping out of the building I'm forced by law to go to 5 days a week, I smile and take in a deep breath of fresh air. Weird, but I do this pretty much everyday. I like my freedom, and in school I feel like I'm in jail or something. It wasn't the learning I didn't like, I just disliked the actual school building and the whole "5 days a week for most of the year" thing.
Pushing my sunglasses down off the top of my head and onto the bridge of my nose, I started walking towards my bike. Mike and Alex were on each side of me as usual and we were approaching our three black motorcycles when I saw something resting on top of my bike's seat. It was flowers. A bouquet of flowers. The flowers were blue and white, just like the flower crown Jaime was wearing when I first met him. I then noticed a note tied to the stems of the flowers.
I hope this isn't super weird...
I just thought I should buy this cheap bouquet before it died on the display.
You can do whatever you want with these but I like these colors and you were the only person I could think of to give these to.
Sorry if this was bothersome in any way.J
I smiled slightly while reading the note. J. Hopefully these were from Jaime. There wasn't really anyone else these could be from though, so it was pretty likely Jaime was the sender of this small but heart-warming gift. Placing the bouquet of flowers into my backpack as carefully as possible, I put on my helmet and mounted my motorcycle. Scanning through the people standing outside the school building, I spotted Jaime and gave him a small smile and a wave. He simply blushed and smiled his award-winning dimpled smile. Looking to my sides to see that both Mike and Alex were ready to go, I sped out of the school parking lot with butterflies in my stomach

Okay so I don't want to write a big long apology letter because I am very sorry about terrible amounts of updates but I simply have no motivation to do a lot of things like this. I will try to update as often as possible but all I can say is to not get your hopes up. However, I have big plans for this story and maybe if I start going into the really good stuff, I'll be more motivated. Thank you guys so so much for reading, voting, and commenting (please keep commenting, comments are my favorite).
I love youuuu.(p.s. I kinda rewrote/added to chapters 1 & 2 and tried to make those two longer and then tried to make this one longer as well... do you think this is a better length? or would you guys still prefer a little longer? Pleeaassee tell me because I want to make you guys happy. However, longer chapters might mean less frequent updates so :/ just tell me what you guys think)
