Vic's POV
Once the three of us arrived at our street we decided to hang out at la casa de Fuentes. Alex was pretty much Mike and I's other brother; wherever we went, he was with us. As we walked inside and set our backpacks down by the door we greeted my mom, Vivian, who was already starting on dinner in the kitchen. My dad, Victor, wasn't around much since he worked a lot but when he was here we got along pretty well. We then went to the living room and sat down on the dark leather couch that was facing our large tv."What shall we do now my brothers?" Mike asked in a fake formal voice. Looking over at Alex who was to the left him and at myself who was on Alex's other side.
I just shrugged and looked to my side at Alex. The taller boy rubbed his chin, pretending there was hair there and that he was thinking intensely. After about 10 seconds he finally opened his mouth to speak.
"We shall play Mario Kart!" the brunette exclaimed with a triumphant smile, holding a fist up.
"I call Rosalina!" I exclaimed loudly before grabbing the nearest Wii emote. Yes, Wii is super old but Mario Kart is one of the best games ever.
"Vic, you don't have to call her neither of us want to play as her nor will we ever," Mike explained condescendly, shaking his head.
"Ugh whatever, she's by far the best. Plus she has the little good luck star thing," I scoffed, defending my favorite character of the video game.
The three of us played Mario Kart for a couple hours before being called in for dinner by my mother. My mother had prepared spaghetti for us tonight, Alex's favorite, so he obviously stayed. We also invited Alex's parents over, which wasn't unusual, so we had a pretty full house.
After we had all finished dinner, which was absolutely delicious, Alex decided to stay over at our house for the night.
"Hey uhm could Alex stay in your room tonight Mikey?" I asked nervously once we got upstairs.
"Yeah but why?" My younger brother asked suspiciously.
"I just.. I-my room is messy and I don't feel like setting up the extra bed and yeah it would just be better I guess," the words coming out of my mouth didn't make any sense and both Mike and Alex knew it. I could tell by the complete disbelief written across both of their faces.
"Vic what the hell. You never care if your room is messy and we can set up the extra bed in like a minute," Alex called me out. A glint of what seemed to be anger, or frustration, in his eyes.
"Please trust me on this Alex, you have nothing to worry about. If you think I'm going to hurt myself or some shit you're stupid because you two will literally be in the room right next to me," I fought back, my voice raising with each word. While I was speaking I had been moving closer to him, only about a foot in front of him now. My brother stood to the side, slightly behind my life-long best friend. He was probably too scared to say anything by now so he just watched.
"I don't know what to trust about you now! You know damn well why I'm worried about you Vic. I don't want you to shut down on me again. At school, you have that stupid "tough guy" wall up and you better not build it up when your around your family. I'm your family Vic, I know who you are. I know the real you and I know that it very well can take over completely, it has before. Don't even try to claim you wouldn't hurt yourself with us so close to your room because that didn't stop you last time! I want to be able to trust everything you say Vic but I just, I can't handle seeing you in a hospital bed again. There's nothing else for me to say and I hope you really take in what I said. This conversation, or argument, may have not even been necessary but I don't care. What I said are things I want you to remember whenever. I'll stay in Mike's room tonight anyways because hopefully you just need some time by yourself or whatever. Please just remember everything I just said. I'm always here for you, as well as your brother. We're your family. Goodnight Vic," Alex said with a small, fake smile. His voice was soft by the last sentence, but before that he was close to shouting. His hands were also still in the form of clenched fists by his sides. He always did that when he was upset, it was a habit he's had since we first met.
"Thanks I guess. Goodnight guys, see you in the morning," I replied softly, looking down for a second. Soon after looking up, I watched as they walked to their right into Mike's bedroom and closed the door. Once the door was completely shut I walked into my own room and shut the door as well.
Alex was rightfully worried about me. At school I always had the confident bad boy wall up. Alex and Mike were fine with that since it was just school, but I know that once we came home they expected that wall to be broken down and blown away. However, it's like there were three layers. The tough guy wall, for school, the no wall, for home, then the metal, electric fence with a brick wall guarded by motion censored lasers. These layers were very similar to the whole Japanese, "three faces" theory. My first layer, tough guy, is what I show the world. The second layer, no wall, is what I show my close friends and family. My final layer, mega-wall, is what I never show anyone. That last layer needs some explanation though. It's not the wall itself I never show anyone, it's what's behind the wall. The violent island behind the wall is what I try my hardest to never let anyone see. That island is what Mike and Alex saw one time. It took them seeing it one time to constantly be worried about me.
Now was the time I relaxed on that island. Let the waves come crashing down all around me. Allowed my demons to bring the tidal wave, leaving nothing remaining. Slowly I reached under my mattress and felt around, finally wrapping my hands around what I was searching for. Pulling it out from it's hiding place, I raised up and just looked at it. The object was a black pistol. It wasn't loaded but it could be if I wanted it to be. This, this object was one of my best friends. Alex would be so hurt if he ever knew that, but it's the truth. I'll be the one to tell you that slow conversations with this gun, mean more than I've ever said to anyone. I take back me saying this gun wasn't loaded, because it always fucking was and always will be. It will constantly be loaded with every word that has slipped out of my mouth. Every word I have spoken while sitting on that dark, cold, terrifying island. The island where I feel so alone, but also right at home.

I think this is okay time for an update?? It's much sooner than the others so I guess I'm kinda proud. I know there's really not any Fuenciado in this chapter but I think this really helps to get you guys to understand Vic and all the stuff going on with him. This chapter hopefully got you to connect with him a little more I don't know. Okay anyways, couple questions.
1. Do you guys still want longer chapters? (I'm trying and will keep trying my hardest)
2. Any other POV's you guys want to see? Or even any more characters to be added?
3. Thoughts on Vic now that you know him a little more?
That's all I think!
I love youuu(p.s. you guys can imagine Alex as either Babinski or Gaskarth, I don't mind either way. I've been getting glimpses of Gaskarth so yeah haha)
